Chin augmentation is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is done to reshape the chin, either through the implementation of an enhancing implant or by reshaping the jaw bones. It is typically performed as a cosmetic facial procedure for those who are displeased with the amount that their chin protrudes from the jaw, often to provide augmentation to a chin that is projected or just doesn’t protrude enough for the patients’ liking.
