Birth control methods such as the pill, patch, or IUD are more effective than condoms in preventing pregnancy. However, it is still important to remember that they do not provide protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). It is highly recommended to use a condom and/or another barrier method when engaging in sexual activity to reduce the risk of STI transmission.
