What Is a Skin Tag?
A skin tag is a growth, often located where the skin tends to rub against itself or within folds of the skin, such as under the arms or breasts, on the neck, eyelids, or around the buttocks, appearing as if they are hanging off of the skin. They are typically the same color as the surrounding skin, if not a little bit darker than the natural skin tone, and will typically grow anywhere from 2mm to 5cm in size.
