What Is the Usual Schedule for Well-Child Visits?

Starting from the moment of birth, well-child checkups constitute a vital aspect of a new parent's routine. These periodic visits are designed to ensure your child's health, happiness, and progression through developmental milestones.

Commencing with the initial newborn examination, subsequent appointments occur at the ages of two months, four months, six months, nine months, 12 months, 15 months, and 18 months.

Following this intensive first-year schedule, your child's well-child visits transition to an annual basis from the age of two through six. Of course, you can also arrange additional appointments if specific concerns arise that require consultation with your pediatrician.
