Can I Eat or Drink Normally After Getting Composite Veneers?
After getting composite veneers, you can generally resume Eating and Drinking, but there are a few precautions to consider during the first 24 to 48 hours. During this time, the composite material used for the veneers needs to fully harden and bond to the teeth. For the first couple of days, it's recommended to avoid sticky, hard, or extremely hot or cold foods and drinks, as they could potentially affect the bonding process or cause discomfort. Additionally, if you've had any numbing agents applied during the procedure, it's best to avoid eating or drinking until the numbness wears off to prevent accidental biting of the lips, tongue, or cheeks.
