Job Overview:

The Thyroid Place, a functional medicine facility with a specialized focus on thyroid health, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. With our growth, we require an expert who can review thyroid medications and doses, predominantly glandulars, and manage other related medications for our patient base, including those dealing with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) or mold illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and prescribe thyroid medications and doses; experience with glandulars is valued.

2. Evaluate and treat patients with illnesses such as CIRS and mold illnesses (we can provide training, Dr Valdes is a proficiency partner)

3. Collaborate with the in-house team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

4. Stay updated on the latest treatments and trends in functional medicine related to thyroid health.

Qualifications:

- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida or any state where the practitioner may be licensed.

- Interest in thyroid health and functional medicine approaches.

- Knowledge of medications related to thyroid health and mold illnesses.

- Experience with telehealth or virtual patient care.

- Strong communication skills and patient-centric approach.

Contract Details:

- Structure: Independent Contractor

- Rate: $200/hr

- Frequency: Minimum once a month for 5 hours

- Availability: Any day from Monday to Saturday
