Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and/or Physician assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires 2-years of Urgent care experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients across various age groups, including toddlers.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and sterile processing as needed.
• Develop and implement discharge planning for patients to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote consultations and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.

Experience

• A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is required.
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is mandatory.
• Previous experience in primary care or emergency room (ER) settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and patient care standards is essential.
• Experience with telehealth services is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective patient interaction.
• 2 years of Urgent Care experience required
• DOT certification preferred
