What Is the Main Cause of Chronic Sinusitis?

When your sinuses, located in your nose and head, swell and become inflamed for more than three months despite treatment, it is called chronic sinusitis. Your nose may become stuffy because of this condition, which interferes with mucus draining normally. There are several causes of sinusitis, including bacteria, growths in the sinuses (nasal polyps), and swelling in the sinus lining.
