A bladder infection, also known as cystitis, can be a real pain (literally!). This infection occurs when bacteria invade the bladder, causing inflammation & irritation. Thankfully, there are usually some very clear signs that something's wrong down there.

The most common symptom of a bladder infection is frequent urination, even when you don't have much urine to pass. This can be accompanied by a constant urge to go, making it feel like you can't empty your bladder completely. Another hallmark symptom is a burning sensation during urination. This burning pain can make using the bathroom quite uncomfortable.

Symptoms depend on the type of bite or sting. They may include:

• Pain
• Redness
• Swelling
• Itching
• Burning
• Numbness
• Tingling

Some people have severe, life-threatening reactions to bee stings or insect bites. This is called anaphylactic shock. This condition can occur very quickly and lead to rapid death if not treated quickly.

Seek medical attention if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

• Abdominal pain or vomiting
• Chest pain
• Difficulty swallowing
• Difficulty breathing
• Face or mouth swelling
• Fainting or lightheadedness
• Rash or skin flushing
