Two months ago, she gave me a single page of clear, step-by-step instructions outlining what to expect, my medication schedule, and specific questions to ask my insurance company so everything would be covered. This incredible preparation was mirrored during the procedure itself, as she narrated every step out loud. Her communication kept me incredibly calm and made the process as pleasant as possible. The front desk staff were also wonderful- so nice and helpful! I highly recommend her small practice for anyone seeking organized, compassionate gynecologic care.

Dr. Trandai saved my life. She is a wonderful doctor. An "old-school" true doctor who cares about her work and the patient and isn't jaded or takes shortcuts. She has a warmth and sense of humor that makes you feel comfortable and she truly listens and educates. I was experiencing real bad period pain for most of my adult life and saw many docs over the years who ALL said it was normal my lot in life and sent me on my way. She was the ONLY doctor that recommended I switch my copper IUD for the hormonal one to thin out the uterine lining and get an ultrasound to see what's going on. They found adenomyosis, fibroids and a benign cysts. The IUD swap worked and my pain was almost gone the next month after 13+ years of monthly anguish. I even brought the IUD possibly up to doctors in the past and they brushed it off. She was the first one that listened. Thank you so so much Dr. Trandai!

Dr Trandai has been my OBGYN for 21 years. She delivered both my kids via C section. I can definitely say that in so many years she has always recommended the best alternatives. She is very knowledgeable and to the point. She is making sure that I stay on track with lab works, colonoscopies, mammograms. She listens to any medical concerns I have and sometimes directs me to other specialists. Also her schedule allows for fast appointments and she is available for questions in between appointments. I could honestly not wish for a better doctor!

I've had one visit with Dr. Trandai and out of all the times I've visited specialists, she listened to my chief complaint and did some diagnostics to hopefully figure out what's wrong with. I've never had a doctor ask to do diagnostics and biopsy at the time of my visit and it was nice she seem committed to caring for me , knowing that it could be a bit of journey. Still, she had viable options which we discussed and it's quite refreshing to have someone that wants to help me, and not just get me in and out the door.

Not sure why so many low reviews on here! Michelle was the first OBGYN that I ever went to and made my experience completely calm. The wait was long and she reassured me that I'd be out quickly- which I was! She helped me with my annual pap and setting me up with how to get an IUD and made everything very easy and calm which you always want with a doctor. Will be going back again because I enjoyed my experience and hope to keep her as my OBGYN as long as possible.

I've been coming to Michelle for years now. I live downtown but I take the drive bc she's def worth it! All my other physicians are at northwestern. She's very knowledgeable and professional with the best bedside manors I've ever experienced. She makes you feel very comfortable and tries to distract you with funny stories during a procedure. Most my gfs come to her now. Her staff is also super friendly. If you're looking for an obgyn who's caring, smart and caters to your needs, try her. She always gives her honest and professional opinion and she's never been wrong. Also, she always makes time if you have an emergency. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that.

Dr. Trandai and Broadway Medical Office are amazing. Dr. Trandai was my OB through both an unsuccessful and successful pregnancy. Her support during both pregnancies was unparalleled. She was always open and transparent about our choices and able to put first-time parents at ease. Dr. Trandai has one of the lowest rates of c-section births as well. If you're worried about being rushed to the surgery, know that she'll exhaust all other avenues first and the surgeries she performs are truly necessary. The front desk has also gone above and beyond, sending and resending referrals when my hospital misplaced them or needed a slightly different form.

Dr Trandai is an awesome doctor and i would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy professional who is attentive to your needs. I started going to Dr Trandai as soon as I found out I was pregnant and did a search in my insurance's website. There were a few quirks here and there For example, I'm heavier set and this automatically got translated as me having high blood pressure and/or diabetes. I was sent to have all these extra tests done and to see a specialist...who herself thought I didn't need the extra attention because I was very healthy. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry but it did add stress to an already stressful situation, considering my personal situation. She was always available when I needed her and definitely showed me that she cared. She recommended me to have a c section because my baby would not drop after being in labor for almost 24 hours! She thought that the baby was too big and that was the reason why. Turned out my baby girl was all tangled up inside and I was so grateful to Dr Trandai for recommending the procedure. If I hadn't done it, who knows what would have happened. I will definitely go back to Dr Trandai :)
