We recently switched to AAC of Rockland for my 8 year old son. To say that we are thrilled with our experience so far would be an understatement. The office is close to an hour away from us, but it is worth the ride. They have squeezed us in when my son was having an acute skin reaction (our allergist of 7 years gave us an appointment for 2 months out) and the level of care that my son has received is superb. We have had multiple appointments with Jesse and she is knowledgeable, informative and makes my food allergy, eczema child feel comfortable with the plans that are put in place.

Very friendly staff from the moment we made the call. Clean, organized and very patient. I highly recommend coming here.

I am extremely pleased with this medical facility. To date, I’ve seen 6 other highly recommended, or referred to, allergy centers. In plain English, they were BASIC and did nada whole lot! This practice, on the contrary, has thoroughly impressed me with my first telehealth appointment with Jesse Valle. I am extremely satisfied with her dedication to her career and expertise in the field. She goes above and beyond most I’ve encountered in general in the medical practice. A number of tests have been administered by Jesse and she is a far stretch from a generic physician. Extremely knowledgeable and steps outside the box to understand you as a patient to potentially connect any dots and will check the abstract without giving up. I will personally highlight that I am not easily impressed, but Jesse Valle, takes the prize in her field from any I’ve personally encountered. When I started to come for in-person visits, I was warmly welcomed by Breanna at the front desk who has a lovely personality and is a pleasure to speak with for scheduling or any other thing pertaining to your personal file. Cindy with the help of Naomi applied different patch testing on my back and were very thorough in their approach and have a very calming demeanor. Lauren is an other physician who saw me on the days that Jesse Valle was at the Monroe office. Lauren was very nice. Sue at the front desk for scheduling is a lovely woman, very friendly and super accommodating. She is extremely helpful when scheduling appointments and does her best to make sure you are informed what each appointment entails and specifies if there is any deviation (such as preferably arriving early for a certain appointment because of additional procedures and gives accurate time approximations for you to plan accordingly). I’ve been very pleased with the professionalism, cleanliness, friendliness of all staff and impressed with the expertise thus far. I highly recommend the practice for any allergy and asthma needs before wasting time as I did with many others. Thank you all. PC

I have been seeing Dr. Selter for many years and he has been amazing to work with. Currently, I have been receiving allergy injections which have helped relieve many of my chronic allergy symptoms. Dr. Selter is kind, attentive, patient and knowledgable. The staff at Allergy and Asthma care is amazing! They are accommodating to patient needs and work with you on scheduling and billing. I highly recommend this practice.

This office is wonderful, patients don't wait more then 10 minutes, Dr's are very knowledgeable and never feel rushed. Their Oit program to help pts with food allergies , has helped so many kidd as well as adults I wouldn't take my grandson anywhere else

My son had a great visit today. We were pleasantly welcomed in by the front desk, medical assistants, and at checkout. We were promptly seen by Raizy Klahr PA who is excellent and able to have lab work drawn in office saving us so much time while guaranteeing requested specialty tests. The office is very clean and modern with a welcoming atmosphere.

My daughter (almost 5 years old) has been going to PA Lauren for the last 2.5 years. She successfully completed SLIT and then OIT for egg. She is currently doing OIT for peanut. I cannot recommend the office enough. The therapies are life changing. We’ve done many food challenges and testing to get a better understanding of her allergies (treenut egg and peanut). Lauren is thorough and very supportive, and the knowledge we’ve gained through her is invaluable. We fully trust her and cannot recommend the office enough!

I highly recommend (and frequently recommend) Dr. Selter’s office for OIT, oral challenges and allergy care in general. My family have been patient’s of Dr. Selter’s office for over 6 years. After interviewing other offices we felt the Dr. Selter’s office and staff was the right fit. We have done OIT for several years for several allergens. I have felt safe and my family has been treated with great care at the office and at home. They are attentive at the office and careful with treatment. At home, they are on call and I haven’t felt alone in the OIT journey even when calling for minor questions and minor dosing adjustments. The office stays up to date on the latest OIT trends, consults to come up with solutions, provides multiple options and are willing to go slow. They fight with the insurance to get medically necessary treatments. After completing 10+ oral challenges (and so much OIT), Dr. Selter’s office is great with oral challenges. They are attentive to the slightest change in symptoms and follow protocols to confirm if an allergen is safe or not while being very careful with patients. I recently referred another family member and am super pleased with their experience also. Finally, I can’t say enough about the amazing PAs Raizy, Jessi and Lauren and all the nurses and techs that work so hard. Sue and the office staff are just as amazing and caring. They have been there for us and I appreciate them greatly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joel Selter for over 27 years, and he has consistently provided the utmost professional care with great attention to detail and at times extenuating circumstances. The office is extremely patient friendly and very responsive. Above all, Dr. Selter listens to his patients and works with them to diagnose and treat in their best interests.

My family and I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Selter’s office and will continue to seek allergy services for my daughter going forward . From first point of contact with the office scheduling staff to the point of examination and treatment, all aspects of care were professional and seamless. My adult special needs child was suffering with severe allergies this season and I called the practice asking if she could be seen and understood for her different abilities. Many medical offices are not naturally patient and compassionate with this population. I am always ready to offer persuasion and sometimes pleading for her to receive compassionate care. Dr.Selter’s office was immediately understanding and willing to examine and treat her while taking into account how much she struggled with discomfort because self care is not as available to her it may be to many. The gentle kindness of all staff, and PA Lauren’s commitment to understand the full picture before moving forward, was outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Selter and his associates for your allergy treatment needs.

Brought my elderly mom in for possible allergic reaction. Dr. Shelter was wonderful; extremely thorough, and took his time. He was so thorough, he discovered an irregular heartbeat and practically saved her from further serious medical issues. I highly recommend him.

I cannot praise this place enough. I found it when researching practices that did oral immunotherapy. I have a deathly severe allergy to peanuts and I wanted to try out this relatively new treatment to desensitize myself. The process was smooth and the doctors and nurses that work there are all kind and personable. Over the six months of my treatment, the worst reaction I ever had was a mild stomach ache and they still took it very seriously, adjusting the dosing accordingly. Now I'm done with my treatment and I am on a daily maintenance dose of 8 peanuts a day, something unthinkable for me a year ago. My life has changed drastically. I still carry my epi pen everywhere I go, but I can do whatever I want without fear. It is a life changing experience and Allergy & Asthma Care of Rockland provided me with a life without fear every time I eat out. I'd do it over again in a heartbeat and I wouldn't do it with any other practice.
