Amazing customer service from the moment you enter the front door! Everyone is very professional, friendly, and super kind. The doctor comforts your child with a kind smile, friendly conversation, and constant encouragement and reassurance. Not to mention he’s experienced and has precise and confident hands! He removed two cavities for my child using funny gas only since the cavities are on the surface only. My child was calm the whole time. If you are looking for an excellent and caring dentist for your kid, this is the place!

Our daughter who is 4 had the Absolute BEST experience with DR. Mehdi! The office has easy parking for parents, clean, bright and welcoming office. Dr. Mehdi took the time to make her feel comfortable for her first dental visit. He accepts all insurances as well and can truly win over any child with his friendly demeanor and welcoming smile. I was referred to take my daughter to see a specialist for her dental work by her previous dentist. I was amazed by how the doctor & staff made our visit smooth & made my daughter feel very comfortable when getting her work done. My 4 year old did amazing cooperating & maintain still during her procedure. I highly recommend this place as the staff are very kid friendly, the environment is clean & the doctor & staff are very informative.

I was so worried about my 2 and 3 year olds as last visits to the dentists did not go well at all. My three year old has developmental delays and is very sensitive, she was the one I worried about most. Usually it is a lot of crying and kicking making it impossible to do an assessment and get a good cleaning. Right as we walked in the office it was very welcoming and I think children just feed off of that. Vivi greeted us and was so kind. Dr Mehdi was wonderful with my girls, he was patient and caring, ultimately this made a huge impact as children, especially my three year old don’t like to feel rushed. I couldn’t believe when my three year old sat in the chair by herself and participated willingly. Many will treat children with delays as if they do not understand and therefore do not speak with them directly, making it all worse. Dr Mehdi and Vivi spoke directly to my daughter and cheered as the assessment and cleaning went on. It was such a good visit!

Doctor and staff were amazing!! My son needed emergency treatment and they made it happen! Doctor was patient and understanding of my mom heart for my little boy. The receptionist was wonderful and helped figure out insurance and scheduling and got us in quickly! So thankful for this team!

Dr. Mehdi and his team were so great with our 2 year old son! They made him feel comfortable and made the visit fun, they even "examined" his stuffed animal's teeth first. Dr. Mehdi showed our son all of the tools and explained each step before he started; they also had a huge screen for cartoons which definitely helped distract him. This was our son's third total dentist visit, the first two were at another pediatric practice and ended in tears. Our son was so happy at the end of this visit and excited to get a balloon and goody bag. We also needed a weekend visit which this office doesn't offer yet; they opened early for us on a Saturday so our son could be seen- he was the only patient of the day! If you're looking for a dentist who can handle the wiggles and jitters of a little one, look no further than ChildSmiles OC! We took our 4-year-old son, Adith, for his first checkup, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff put Adith at ease. The waiting room was decorated with the kids play tools, Ipads with pre loaded kids games and bright colors, and the receptionist was incredibly patient and very helpful. Dr.Mehdi Dowlaty and his staffs was absolutely fantastic. They spoke directly to Adith, explaining everything in a calm and gentle way. They used age-appropriate language and even showed him some cool dental tools that looked more like spaceships than scary drills. Adith was giggling throughout the entire exam! Here's where things got super cool! Before the procedure, Dr. Dowlaty found out Adith's favorite cartoon is "Finding Nemo." They then played the show on a special LCD TV positioned right above Adith's head while he was comfortably lying on the bed. With the movie playing, the entire procedure went by quickly and painlessly, considering the usual wiggles you expect from a four-year-old! and Adith left with a huge smile with lots of valuble gifts (Yes - a shiny new toothbrush! too.) ChildSmiles OC absolutely blew us away! They made Adith's first trip to the dentist so much fun, and we couldn't be more grateful. They did everything possible to keep him comfortable and feeling cared for. We'll definitely be back for his next checkup, and I'm telling all my friends with little on es about this amazing place!

I'm glad a pediatric dentistry opened near my neighborhood just before my kids started school. Check up for the kiddos was a breeze and they didnt leave being afraid of the dentist.
