First Time Patient visit, great friendly staff

My five-year-old hit his mouth going down a water slide late this afternoon and one of his teeth looked like it had moved and become loose. I was concerned and wanted to get it checked out. I called the office and they said we could come in today. I was so grateful they were willing to squeeze us in like that so he could be seen the day it happened. They were thorough with the exam/xrays and Dr Khan answered all my questions (I was pretty worried about the possible damage done). He was reassuring, knowledgeable, clear, professional, and patient! Getting there at the end of the day, he could have just rushed through to get us out the door, but I didn’t feel rushed at all. He and the assistant also interacted with my son so well and were so gentle, that my son wasn’t rattled at all by the situation or by being there. My son is a regular patient at his office and I was already happy with their work, and this experience was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this dental office! Thank you, Dr Khan and staff! You’re appreciated!

My experience with another local dentist was fine - but I couldn’t forget the EXCELLENT experience I had at Dr. Khan’s 10 years prior, before I moved for college. I assumed it’d take forever to get an appt, but took a chance and called them & much to my surprise, I was still in their system. From the moment the woman on the phone - Lindsay - answered, I knew I made the right decision to switch dentists. Her voice was so calming and kind, & she assured me that she’d make me a priority bcs I was in pain. She said she’d call as soon as she got to the office the following day, if she has a cancellation. I didn’t even have to until then, bcs she called a few hours later letting me know she could get me in the following morning. Everyone at the office was wonderful. I love how Dr. Khan takes the time to point things out on X-ray & explain what’s going on. Lindsay said she’d speak with my insurance company & call me as soon as she had payment information. Again, she did as promised, and called the next morning. The price was very reasonable for the service. I thanked Lindsay on the phone for being wonderful & making this process so stress-free, but I wanted to reiterate the importance of that in this review. We all know how stressful it can be dealing with appointments and insurance companies … especially while you’re in pain. This office made it all very easy and hassle-free. Thank you to everyone at Dr. Khan’s office & a special shout out to the front desk rockstar, Lindsay!

I’ve been a patient at Great Smiles since I moved to Toledo in 2009 since my husband was already established there and really liked Dr Khan. Now nearly 15 years later I cannot imagine seeing a different dentist. Not only is Dr Khan extremely nice and good at what he does; the entire staff there is amazing. Darlene has been cleaning my teeth for years. I also did Invisalign there. They always do a great job whether it’s a root canal or a check up for my braces. The best part though is the fact Dr Khan is a huge Michigan University fan. He even has one patient room dedicated to Michigan. It’s fun to talk about the games with him. Go Blue! Would definitely recommend this place! Update: 3/28/24 I had finished my Invisalign AND had a tooth that has bothered me since puberty fixed with a crown. I’m so, so happy with the results! Love being a patient at Great Smiles!

Hands down one of the best dental offices I've experienced. The staff is incredibly nice and when I called having severe Tmj issues, they got me in the next day. Dr. Khan is very kind and even caught what other dentists hadn't in years! Apparently, I've had tmj for a while, and it caused several stress fractures in my teeth. My last dentist was just belittling my hygiene asking why I was getting so many tiny cavities. Dr. khan explained it wasn't a hygiene issue. It was the fractures in the tooth causing them. My last dentist I followed for 7 years and never picked up the issue! Highly recommend.

Dr Khan and his staff have been nothing but amazing to me. I have major anxiety when it comes to dental work and been putting off getting things done for a while now. Dr Khan went out of his way multiple times to make sure that I was comfortable even when I wasted his time at my last appointment because I let my emotions take over and did not get my teeth work done! This time he gave me meds to relax me and gave me the nitrogen oxide to calm me down even more. His staff member Justin explained everything to me today and let me choose which steps I would be comfortable with today, while I chose to only do some of it today I actually got the work done and already set up another appointment. Dr Khan most definitely accommodates to cowards. They will never realize how much I appreciated there kindness to me today and look forward to working with them again!! If you are afraid of the dentist, this office will most definitely make you feel comfortable!

I have been going to Great Smile for over 20 years, i’m now in my 40s. When I started going, I was a very young adult and needed major dental work and some emergency help. With limited funds, it took years to get my teeth in good shape; I had a traumatizing experience before I found Dr. Khan and I trusted no one but needed help now badly. Because of my past, I was deathly afraid of dental work. The tag line at Great Smiles for as long as I can remember was always “We cater to Cowards”, so I had to give them a try. Each and every visit, since my first, has been memorable, in a very positive way. I even moved to Columbus for 10 years but still drove back to Toledo for all of my dentist appointments, because they’re the best and have the most kind hearted staff you could ever trust with your family. When my daughter was old enough, we did Invisalign for her and had nothing but the best outcome. They know what they’re doing in all aspects and you will not find better dentistry. I feel very fortunate I found them so long ago and they deserve all the success and trust they’ve earned.

Before I came to Great Smiles I was led to believe the only way to fix my teeth was traditional braces & a tooth extraction/replacement, all beyond my budget. I was happily surprised when the team led by Dr Kahn at Great Smiles informed me that I qualify for Invisalign. Also they helped me with financing options which in turn improved my credit, win-win! The team from front of office to hygienists & assistants have all been personable, intelligent & helpful. Dr. Kahn has such a kind knowledgeable demeanor & has some very modern tech with his dental tools. If you have been told years ago you wouldn't qualify for Invisalign, go here & be pleasantly surprised! Im just over 1/2 way through & the changes are amazing. Reality check disclaimer- sometimes trays may need a little nail file touch up if they have a tiny irritating burr (only had it once in a year so far); increased clenching with possibly larger tori is possible; some twisted teeth may require temporary "buttons"/ glued on tooth color nubs. You may want to whiten teeth before getting the 1st tray fitted, it's ALL WORTH IT. Invest in yourself here, no regrets.

Great Smiles Dentistry has provided our family excellent dental care service for several years. The dental staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My children enjoy having dental staff member Kendra who always explains to them each step in the process, and tries to make sure they feel comfortable throughout their care. Dental staff member Melissa is always friendly, and makes them smile! To save the best for last, Dr. Khan is a great dentist for adults and kids and has provided excellent dental care which is why we drive a hour to his office. I have going to great smiles for many years. Staff always pleasant and professional. Darlene has been my hygienist forever. she listens to my issues and addresses them immediately. Dr Khan is the best dentist in town. He is always smiling and makes sure he explains everything in detail. Love all the other staff as well. Never had a bad experience there.

I had severe tooth ache..I called the office and they gave me an appointment ,same day!! Every one was so friendly and helpful..Justin the dentist assistant listened to me with so much empathy..I felt really comfortable. Dr Khan is so lovely,he explained to me what needed to be done .He even went an extra mile and booked me with the oral surgeon..same day to have my tooth extraction. I was so happy. The oral surgeon Dr Patrick McCabe was so good too..he did the extraction same day, I was comfortable, he explained the procedure as he was performing so I was not scared with the many sounds( I was under Local anesthesia).His assistant Brittney was very friendly and helped me calm down all thru the procedure. Am so glad I found a great team!! My whole family will definitely be coming here for checkups!

All the staff were very welcoming and friendly...best dentist office I have ever been to...We were told by a local orthodontist office that invisalign and braces would cost the same at over $6000 and thankfully we found Great Smiles! When we found out they had a special on invisalign that saved us thousands compared to braces for two teenagers, I knew it was a Godsend and huge blessing! Loved the confidence the dentist and techs had and their communication style that made my shy teenage son very comfortable. We are definitely changing dentists now to Great Smiles because the experience was fantastic!

Dr Khan is the best. His ad in the phone book said he catered to cowards & I called and said I was worse than a coward I was told you called the right place. My first impression was of the facility. An attractive building with the interior having a very healthy concern for covid19. The receptionist and all other employees were extremely friendly. My technician was Darlene who made my visit welcoming and enjoyable. She gave me a very useful tip on flossing. And Dr. Khan was personable and sincere as he spoke with me. A real gentleman. Clearly, a five star experience.

Appointments always take place on time; the staff is always fast, friendly and efficient. Dr. Kahn and his team make me feel welcome and cared for. On my most recent visit, Mindy, Lisa, Mickie, Darlene and Audrey handled my filling and cleaning as well as arranging my next appointment. The location is convenient with lots of parking and nearby shopping and eateries.
