An amazing experience! I had strep throat last week and the nurse who tested me for strep did an amazing job. Quickest test yet. Out of all the many times I’ve had strep, this was the best experience despite me being sick.

We have used Minor Emergency of Denton multiple years for our employee flu clinic at EMLS. They are always professional and empathetic to our employees that get nervous with vaccines. Dr. Blankenau came this year, and he was amazing to work with. Can not recommend them enough!

I went to Minor Emergency in Denton about 6 months ago while I was visiting family. I had some health complications, and decided to go to Minor Emergency since it is very close to my family's home. I saw a nurse practitioner, (John, I think?), and he listened and was very compassionate and helped me with my health issues. He even called in a prescription, and the pharmacy was right next door. All of that took only about an hour! I would definitely go back to this place. Bonus....cute gift shop in the pharmacy too. I spent some money there!

I have been going to Minor Emergency of Denton for over 14 years. The staff is always very friendly and thorough. Dr. Blankenau is not only extremely knowledgeable, but very compassionate. He has understood my numerous ailments over the years, and he has treated them with great results.

Major Kudos to MED. I could not get in with my primary for sinus allergies crud and this place helped me out. Dr Blankenau is great and very friendly as well as the rest of his staff, especially his front receptionist Jacie. I could not recommend this place more. I did have a high deductible at the end of my visit but that is really on me not there fault. Mucho Mucho Gracias MED.

Wow... This place is amazing. Shout out to John M. I believe he is the NP there and he really helped me out with my female troubles. If you have a UTI, like I did or have another minor issue like a cold or stomach bug I highly recommend this place to get you the help you need. Thankfully this place wasn't swamped when I went because they got me in and out quickly and the staff was super friendly. Thanks you guys at MED.

I highly recommend Minor Emergency of Denton. The staff is very friendly and helpful and actually care for their patients. If they cannot help you here its typically because you came to an urgent care for an Emergency room at a hospital problem; which can be frustrating to those who do NOT know the difference. I am definitely making this place my go to place for all my urgent care needs.

My PCM is located here, they don’t do appointments like a traditional office but I haven’t had any issues when I needed to be seen or needed a referral.

After seeing multiple providers through this week (Mar28,29) was seen here 4/1 and the issue I was having was diagnosed, addressed and resolved quickly and efficiently. I have been dealing with this issue since Sunday and finally it is resolved!!! I am beyond grateful as I was on the verge of thinking I would have to go to an Emergency Room or wait until Monday to try and get a referral from my primary care in order to get treated. Kudos to the staff and dr !!!!!

Today is 2/14/22. As of a month ago I visited this clinic for a DOT physical my blood sugar was high A1C was high It was at 10.5 The doctor on duty denied me for my physical I was upset but then again I'm a 60 year old man now realizing it at the time she probably saved my life. I went back today and passed my physical. If she would have passed me at the time I would not be in the position I am in now my A1c Yes now 7.8 an getting better I know it's unusual but I wanna thank the doctor that turned me down truly out of my heart thank you.

Came in on a Monday morning with a respiratory infection. Only had an hour wait which was a fraction of the other urgent cares in town. Staff was friendly and attentive. It’s no surprise they have won best of Denton awards for the last seven years.

I went in with my mother and she saw Dr. John Mulford. He was INCREDIBLE! We could not have had a better experience there! The staff was friendly, the wait was short and Dr. Mulford was one of the best Doctors I've ever seen! THANK YOU so very much!! I highly recommend Minor Emergency of Denton!

I love these people and they care about your health. Dr Blankenau, Nurse Maureen, Nurse Shannon and the staff are amazing. (Only see these 3 because I’m throwing shade about 1 nurse without bending my branches because he’s aggravating and I don’t believe he cares.) Mrs Judy and the front staff are quick and kind. They don’t rush you out, they listen and provide real solutions. If they can’t fix you it’s because you need to go to a hospital. Place is ALWAYS clean and HGTV makes me want to redo my house once I feel better. Thanks for never showing anxiety promoting news.

I went in today with an issue regarding pain in my leg/lower back. The staff was very friendly & courteous. I did not have to wait long to be seen and when I did go back everything went smoothly as the nurse recorded my symptoms. The diagnosis was very informative and I received immediate treatment to help resolve my issue. Very impressed and would gladly trust them again!

I have had to take my daughter here several times for covid testing and illness, and we have never a bad experience with them! You can tell that the Dr's and nurses really care and they take their time with each patient. Everyone is really nice, their prices are very reasonable, and I can tell that they are doing their best to get people seen as quickly as possible. We highly recommend this place!

I’ve been going to M.E.D. for many years. I have never had a bad experience. The front staff, nurses and providers are wonderful. Sure they have longer wait times since the Covid pandemic. EVERY urgent clinic is booked. One urgent care told me to register then come back with my 3 children at 7pm only to sit in the (small) waiting room with at least 5 hours worth of patients who are ALL being tested for Covid. If we didn’t have it going in at 7pm, we certainly would have had it after being exposed to so many people who all have Covid symptoms. On what planet does that even make sense?! At Minor Emergency of Denton, the first day I went in about 3 hours before closing and was told they were booked for the day. Not their fault!! They can only take so many patients. They told me to come back as early as possible the next morning. I returned around 10am, registered and went home to relax. 2 hours later they called me and we returned, waited 20-30 minutes and were called to be seen. The waiting room was not full at all and everyone was social distanced. While we were being seen, the staff was very caring and kind. We felt like we were their priority for sure. The Dr took plenty of time with us, explained everything and never made me feel silly for questions we had. I know they must get worn down and frustrated with the increase in patients they see due to Covid, but I never would have known it. Great job!

I had the pleasure of having Maureen, a PA there, to help me. She was a very efficient professional from start to finish. She took the time while very busy to awnser all of my questions and made me feel at ease. This woman truly cares for her patients and it shows. 10/10 would recommend Maureen.

many many many! times I've been here all without insurance and always 100-200$ and always correct diagnosis and never huge wait in waiting room, never any drama or bad experiences yet. all this said I'm injury prone and have been coming for over 15 years.

During this pandemic we all need to show a little grace. I arrived at the clinic at 4:45 PM. There were about six or seven people ahead of me. I waited outside the waiting room. Where I was the only person there. But the people that were waiting inside the waiting room were definitely social distancing. It did take a while for me to see the doctor. Maybe an hour an hour and a half. But when I did see the doctor she was very attentive. As well as the nurse aids that were there as well. They were extremely helpful. And I just thought after such a long day of seeing so many patients. They were still professional, courteous and attentive.

Got there early for covid testing. Got right in (I was first in line). Staff very courteous. Took about 30 minutes from time I was called back, answered questions from nurse, covid tested, consultation with the doctor who was very kind, and then got results before I left. Very satisfied. Thank you to the staff.

The entire staff is awesome. Nothing worse when you’re sick than a grumpy nurse. Luckily none of these people are that way. They got me in and out quickly and made me feel great the whole time I was there. Shawn is an especially pleasant person to be around.

My daughter was sick and her PC was booked solid. My biggest concern was if she had the flu. We arrived and from the front desk to the doctor everyone was so friendly and helpful. Definitely will come here again if needed! Highly recommend!

Cassie was so nice and sweet! Everything was taken care of with precision and caution & they seemed to genuinely enjoy not only helping but figuring out the best way for me to handle my injury post-appointment! So thankful to the MED staff when our college age grandson had an allergic reaction to something he ate which caused difficulty in breathing. The Dr. treated him immediately and gave follow up instructions.

I needed stitches on my right foot and rushed in just a few minutes (9:45pm) before M.E.D. Was closing at 10pm. They were so nice and quickly treated my injury. A few stitches and 40 minutes later is was home. Thank you to the entire staff at M.E.D.

Everyone at Minor Emergency of Denton has been so great. They’re caring, and really want the best for their patients. I’ve gone in several times not knowing what’s wrong with me and they do everything they can to give me the answers, and help me out. Definitely recommend coming here if you are sick! My family and I have gone here several times over the last few years and have never had a negative experience. All of the doctors and nurses have always been friendly . The front office staff is always welcoming and the building is always clean.

My problem was treated quickly and to my satisfaction. The doctor was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. M.E.D. takes my Medicare insurance too. I think it's a great place to go for urgent care.

In door, xray within 17 minutes of walking in door, read by radiologist and out door 30 min total. Friendly front desk staff, great nurse, great doctor. Reasonable prices for cash pay. Highly recommend.

I went to this Urgent Care due to spraining my ankle. The staff here are the nicest people ever, nurses, doctors etc. I couldn’t walk and the lady in the front helped me walk to my car, she was so sweet. I recommend everyone to come here, also this whole process only took about and hour.

This place is great! I was in and out within 30-45 minutes! The service I received, from the time I came in, from the time I left, was exceptional! Claire greeted me with friendly hello and an fast-paced check-in process that was extremely easy (the paperwork was super light). The nurse practitioner, Jon, did a fantastic job of treating me! My fingertip wound healed up exactly as he said it would! I have to also mention that their prices are the same as if you had went to your general/primary care doctor? I received a bill for a laceration cut to the finger for $120 (keep in mind it would’ve been about $1000+ at any place that would’ve charged urgentcare/ER prices). Anyways, great job guys keep up the great work!

I went there for a burn on my eye brows from waxing . There was no one waiting so I was seen immediately, no wait time , dr punched through an rx cream for my eyes and I was on my way ! It's was quick and very thorough.

Our little daughter (1 1/2 yr old) hurt her arm. We went in right before they closed and they were patient and caring, staying after closing, making sure we were taken care of and taking the time needed to accurately access our daughters X rays. They were all so kind, from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors. It was also a very clean place and have a nice waiting room. If you’re in denton, this is the place to go for urgent care.

Had cuts and scrapes from going down on my motorcycle. They got to me quickly and they were very thorough checking me out. They took care of my scrapes and gave me a prescription for pain meds for my cracked ribs. Feeling much better when I got home to tell my wife I was in a motorcycle wreck.

If you are looking for a clean clinic(with Keurig!) that has an amazing staff from the front reception, nurses, and doctors, this is the place!!! As a walk in clinic, you can expect a wait but they are really good at letting you know the wait time is for getting you back with the doc if you ask or call ahead to save you some time or from surprises. I also really like that they bill my insurance for vaccines and my office visit copay so that I do not expect a huge bill that I have to pay for after being seen. I definitely would recommend this place if you need to see a doctor the same day. They are super helpful and always assist when I have any questions. They also are open 7 days a week which is nice around my school and work schedule. Definitely would bring my family here or recommend to a friend!

I came here because I was very sick. We just moved to the area and I haven't established a relationship with a physician yet. Thank goodness for places like this! Everyone was kind, I got the medication I needed, and I only had to wait a few minutes. (On a Saturday morning!) I'll return should I have the need.

I've been going here for probably a decade now, ever since my regular GP told me he could slot me in a week later for what I was pretty sure was Strep throat. I've been here for Strep problems, Bronchitis, Stomach pain so bad I thought I would keel over, and a sprained ankle. Every single time service has been top notch. No problems with insurance. Sometime the waits are a bit long, but that's the trade off with first come first served.

My son was having trouble breathing and I had just a week prior had a horrible experience where Denton Regional (or whatever it's called now) prescribed a deadly drug combo to me so I wasn't going to trust them with my son, so I brought him here. The doctor and nursing staff took my concerns seriously even though from the outside it looked like "just a cough." They were kind and appeared to take care of my kid as if he was their own. The best part is after the in-office breathing treatment, he started to get back to normal! After 48 hours on the prescribed medication routine, he's sleeping and the coughing fits have greatly minimized! Saved me a costly ER visit AND took care of my baby in a very stressful time. I will never go anywhere else when I can't reach my primary care doc, you have me for life now.

I had A DOT Physical, I had to go back 3 times to complete the physical, I wasn't aware of needing A letter from my personal doctor and then I didn't remember that Sean told me last year that I needed to have A sleep test, so that resulted in me making 3 visits, everybody was great, but I would like to advise maybe giving the driver A printout ( or email ) every year about 2 months before their DOT Physical due date reminding them what they'll need, because people do forget over time, I think this would be immensely helpful. Still I couldn't hope for A more friendly and professional staff of professionals. I'd give everyone of them A huge raise if this was my company!

I had a very pleasant experience at Minor Emergency of Denton. I only had about a 20 minute wait to see the doctor after I signed in at the desk, Then, I was back in the exam room another 15-20 minutes waiting for the doctor. The doctor was thorough in assessing my problems and prescribing medication to resolve my issues.

Stopped in on the morning of Christmas Eve. Our daughter had severe congestion and the start of a fever. We had a big Christmas trip planned and needed her well ASAP. We hadn't been there before. They got our info in the system very quickly. We were in and out within the hour. They were friendly and professional and genuinely concerned about my daughter's well being. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend anyone that needs a quick doctor visit to stop in.

Wait time was reasonable.. Doctor was clear, asked the right questions and listened to my responses. Sinuses cleared up in about four days, so I would say the treatment (antibiotic for sinus infection) worked.

The doctor's are very professional and caring . I would recommend clinic , everybody is very friendly and helpful.

I had two wait 2 hours but I feel well worth it. I did have to go back to my regular Doctor on Wednesday; problem still existed and had to get more medical help. The people were so kind and helpful I would recommend them to anyone in need. I certainly would not hesitate to go back if a future need came up. I can not thank them enough.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I got checked in right away but waited in the room for 45 minutes on the doctor. At least they had Looney Tune cartons on the tv.

Didn't have to wait long to get in to see the Doctor.Dr Blankenau was easy to talk to and understood my concerns. My exam was complete and satisfactory. Recommendations were made and my wound dressed and Medication prescribed asap. I will go again when needed.

Was quickly seen by caring nurses. The doctor took the time to listen and ask questions.

My whole family has been here for various illnesses and injuries, and I have been extremely pleased with the level of care and speed with which we have been able to be seen. Dr. Blankenau is thorough and compassionate, as is his staff. The hours and location are very convenient. I highly recommend MED.

I've been coming here for years and have had nothing but amazing care from John, the Nurse Practitioner on staff. A couple times I've been seen somewhere else for something and have returned here for follow-up, and each time I end up wishing I'd come here first. Care is personalized and comprehensive and John really cares about his patients. I love MED!

Care is personalized and comprehensive and John really cares about his patients - he doesn't just prescribe drugs and send you on your way, but problem solves with you and gives you multiple options for your course of treatment. I love him & MED!

Went in for what I thought was bronchitis but turned out to be a nasty case of chronic sinitus and an infection. They took my insurance which let me say, it has been a nightmare trying to find someone who will take it. Every time I tried to get in to the doctor the insurance company assigned to me on the card, he was always out or the wait was five days to a two weeks. So I ended up here, while there was a little wait I was still in and out in a timely manner. The staff was polite and professional, the Doctor was kind and reassuring. He made sure all my questions were answered and then gave me what I needed. It was good and positive experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

You might have to wait a little but it's worth it. Friendly staff and always helpful and caring. Love that you are only charge an dr office copay.

My first time at this office. The receptionists were quick and concise. The nurse was great, friendly and seemed knowledgeable and made sure I understood my treatment plan. The doctor was wonderful, he spoke in a way that I could understand what all was going on and made sure I knew my options. The staff overall were very caring and helpful. I waited only about 25 minutes in the waiting area and the doctor was in about 10 minutes after the nurse left. Total time in the office was 1 hour, not too bad at all. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking quick care in the Denton area.

Reasonable wait time, very nice staff, and I even got a nurse call back within 10 minutes when I called with a question. Also got stitches (on my face!!!) here about 3-4 years ago and they did an amazing job.

I've used MED 3 times, their services have been prompt, appropriate and courteous. All the caregivers have been both respectful and professional at all times and have really listened to what I have said. I'll continue to use them for all my minor medical needs and I have recommended them to family and friends.Thanks, MED!

My son saw one of the doctors after a baseball injury that required staples to close a cut... and on another occasion he was seen for a sprained ankle. We were always very happy with the services. We had minimal wait times and the doctors & nurses were friendly and empathetic to my sons anxiety. I'd recommend Minor Emergency of Denton to all my friends and family!
