I was referred to Dr. Wender from my dear friend who also was the patient. I cannot say thanks enough to Dr. Wender and his team. Dr. Wender is not only a fantastic doctor, but also very amazing human. He’s listening to you very deeply and carefully and helping and supporting you with all his heart and knowledge. The things is this method is very specific so it needs patience because in reality we all are different and it very important the team you work with are all with you at the same page in grasping your need with best of their heart and knowing and be with you and supporting you. I can’t say enough great things about Dr Wender and his entire staff. I have had infusion treatments from another local doctor with disastrous results so this isn’t my first go around with ketamine. From the get-go Dr Wender has been compassionate and supportive. He doesn’t sugar coat anything and is completely transparent by explaining everything and making sure he answers all of my questions with upfront honesty. He never makes me feel dumb or looks annoyed when I ask them. His staff have been kind, welcoming and always make sure I’m comfortable before, during and after treatment. I don’t understand the negative reviews on here. You should keep in mind to keep your expectations in check. This isn’t a miracle cure for everyone as everyone is different and going in for different ailments. With that said, if the doctor doesn’t think you’re a good candidate he’ll tell you. I’ve looked around and other doctors may charge less but they’ll take anyone because they’re all about the money aspect ?. Dr Wender genuinely cares about his patients and I trust him completely and as we all know, ya get what you pay for. If you have insurance that is willing to cover or partially cover this treatment the staff is great at helping make the paperwork go smoothly. As far as results go, it’s been a God send! The rooms are comfy and the doctor has been by side during the treatments to ensure I’m doing fine and make adjustments to my infusions if I request them. I’m going in for my fourth round tomorrow and I can’t wait. I felt a big difference after my first one and it keeps getting better. I was in a really bad spot I never thought I would come back from. I now have hope for the future. Invest in yourself. There’s nothing more important and I HIGHLY recommend the Bay Area Ketamine Center. Thank you “Dr Wonder”!! ??

The team here from the coordinator to the nurses doctors and even billing department are extreme helpful and proved excellent communication and support throughout the process. I was anxious about the treatment having never experienced psychedelics and having a hard time letting go but the environment and medical support they provide made me feel very safe and that helped me relax and take full advantage of the treatment. Even the billing department makes the process easier and is very patient and educational with trying to gain maximum reimbursement from a reluctant health care insurer. They monitored my vitals and even breathing and talking so they were immediately there for you if you need it. They are a full medical team and cover all your needs such as any potential nausea. Although I was comforted knowing there was a medial teal behind the process that did not change the relaxing and comforting setting they provide with noise cancelling headsets blankets warm lighting and an at home feel. I highly recommend this place especially if you are a first timer with any anxiety or fear about the treatment.

The licensed doctors and staff made the Ketamine infusion processes simple and hassle-free. There's no unnecessary nonsense, hidden fees, or upselling. They were honest and straightforward with me since the beginning. Do at least 4 sessions. It was the sweet spot for me and most patients. Ketamine infusion treatment is worth the investment for anyone who wants to improve their mental health.

Dr Wender is personable and down to Earth, always cheerful and relaxed which helps set the mood for this kind of treatment! They provide private treatment rooms equipped with a recliner, blankets, sleep masks, soothing light displays and aroma therapy for those who want them. I take my phone and listen to music on my headset during treatments. I always feel comfortable and welcomed…even known and remembered! I know these treatments don’t work for everyone, but they have changed my life for my chronic pain. Though most insurance does not cover it, Dr Wender and his staff have been very very helpful to me with filing all of the needed insurance claims. I couldn’t be happier with the help and service this clinic provides.

Dr. Paul Wender was extremely welcoming and understanding of my needs. Ketamine infusion isn't meant to work after one session, it is a process. I am 3 sessions in and it has been life changing for me. My depression is gone for the first time in my life. I am more motivated and focused than I have ever been. I would highly recommend trying this if you have struggled with depression or anxiety. The room is very relaxing with a comfortable reclining chair and decor for heighten your experience. I am truly a new person ready to take on life's challenges, can't thank him enough for providing this service.

I have found this treatment to be profoundly impactful in combating my depression. I am able to talk openly about my problems and receive treatments tailored to my needs and goals. Most importantly, I always feel like I am in safe hands while treatment is administered.

Ketamine had been my lifeline. I have struggled with severe executive dysfunction, anxieties, hormonal imbalances etc... Dr. Wender had been wonderful working with me to reach the dose that I'm comfortable with while still receiving maximum benefits. I can't speak for others but it seems to reset everything and I feel like the best version of myself. I am a patient that suffers with severe nausea from ketamine and he's been fanastic at making sure that does not happen! I'm also a tricky patient with tiny veins and rarely has he needed to do more than one poke and that's a huge win in my books! Hahaha. You are left alone in a comfy chair during your infusion, but Dr. Wender is right outside monitoring the whole process and is quick to attend to any machine beeps that may occur. If you're considering ketamine infusions then I highly recommend Dr. Wender, he's warm, friendly, and professional.

Dr. Wender has been wonderful as far as detailing the procedure, the potential outcomes of treatment , as well as providing medical advise on a variety of other topics as well. In my search for Ketamine therapy I had initially contacted a variety of alternative clinics that all wanted me to either book several sessions with a psychiatrist or psychologist at several hundred dollars a session (one I actually accepted and paid/wasted money with) before they would even consider an infusion. Many just offered Ketamine lozenges with the expensive “talk therapy “ that was also required. I have worked in the medical industry for 22 years in sales and have conversed with many MD’s, so I think by now I know a knowledgeable provider when I see and talk to one. My sessions have been a very positive and I look forward to continuing them. Highly recommend.
