Dr. Zehra Hooda is the kindest, most caring, and brilliant physician I’ve met. She wants to help and does everything possible to improve quality of life. You can tell she cares deeply about her patients. I live two hours away, and she is worth every time I have to stop to stretch and every traffic jam to get there. Their facilities and staff are excellent, and the name “Modern Pain Management” is the perfect description. Many services offered I was not even aware of. I was scheduled for a fusion surgery in my lower back, but I had them take me off the schedule after my consultation with Dr. Hooda. She has discussed multiple treatment options that I never heard of from local physicians. I had a caudal injection with anesthesia in their Sugar Land location. It was so much easier than having to do it at an outpatient center, get checked in, and not being charged extra facility fees. I actually felt much more at ease and was given better attention at their facility. Dr. Hooda even came in before the procedure and explained what she was going to do, what to expect, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. If you’re scared of another surgery, or have pain that affects your quality of life, then I definitely recommend Dr. Hooda and Modern Pain Management.

Had lumbar injection yesterday and today I am feeling much better. Surprised I was not given any information on what to do, or not to do. A bit of a problem communicating with the office, but I'm happy with Dr. Harandi.

I have been in a lot of discomfort for years. My neck and left shoulder has been the cause of so many painful days. A neighbor of mine suggested Modern Pain Management. I had all my paperwork done in advance which really helped speed up the process. I also collected all my MRI results in advance and brought them with me. I certainly didn’t want to go through another MRI if I didn’t have to. Dr Atallah met with me. He listened to me. He didn’t rush me. He was prepared. I’m not going to lie they will weed out scammers and people just looking for meds real quick. I’m clearly not one of those people. I didn’t want any pain pills at all. It’s not my thing. Dr Atallah is a cool guy. He is not stuffy, he jokes with you, he listens to you and asks questions. Caroline one of his nurses stood out to me. She was super friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel rushed in the least. I was able to have 4 trigger point injections on my first visit. Two days later I feel a lot better. I’m not perfect. But it’s a very good start. I’m able to do all of my normal tasks without discomfort. My goal is to have better range of motion with no pain. I’m not sure if this is going to be possible but only time will tell. I highly recommend Dr Atallah.

Dr Attallah has been my pain doctor for about 7 years. He is the best listener as you explain your pain symptoms. He has really helped me control the pain from herniated disc's in my back and neck. I highly doubt him and his staff.

While dealing with Neuropathy pain for 16 years due to a severe case of shingles, I have learned to rely on my pain management care from the professionals at Modern Pain Management. Dr. Candice Bernette is a very compassionate, detail oriented physician, who is very personable. I have a lot of physical problems. She has addressed them all with injections and Airrosti chiropractic care. I feel like she looks for multiple ways or choices to address physical problems and their resulting pain. I appreciate her and I’m thankful to have her as my pain management doctor.

Dr Burnett has given me an alternative to just meditation. The spinal stimulator will enable me to start swimming again. I didn’t think I was able to engage in that activity. There will be other benefits I am sure.

The staff is very professional. They will listen to complaints, and take care of any pain needs very responsibly. Nothing is to small. As for myself I have been very happy with them because they take good care of me. Give them a try, they listen and treat as I stated earlier. I'm patient at Modern Pain, I love Dr. Ngo, who I see at the Memorial City location. He listens to your concerns and responds with what best would answers of what besthe's very compassionate doctor I can't say enough about Dr. Ngo, and hus staff I highly recommend if your needing pain relief, they offer all types depending on your needs and what he thinks would be best. I seen many pain Dr s over many yrs I've needed it and never loved a place as much as this office.

I have been going to Modern pain management for several years. I have nothing but good to say about Dr. Atalah and Dr. Burnette they are AMAZING!! I was facing no hope but double knee replacement surgery before going to them. They have performed several procedures over the years. I have a lot less pain and I have not had double knee replacement surgery. After several orthopedic surgeons with double and third opinions, saying I had no other alternative. They are just some of my angels on earth. Dr. ATALLAH is so good he is helping my daughter now with her pain issues. I highly recommend Modern pain management to anyone that is suffering in pain or discomfort. Five stars! Excellent office staff also. More than one location.

I discovered Modern Pain Management in 2018 after receiving a diagnosis of Sciatica in my left leg due to nerve compression and spinal stenosis. Dr. Harandi is an excellent physician and has provided years of expertise and guidance with the provision of corticosteroid injections in my spinal area. These injections have allowed me to lead a normal lifestyle without pain for long periods of time. My last injection was November 2020, and I have experienced no pain within a few weeks of the steroid therapy which lasted two years. Of course each patient will have a different experience concerning pain relief. However, my experience as his patient has been excellent. I have complete confidence in his ability to effectively treat this otherwise painful condition in order to bring pain relief. I highly recommend Dr. Harandi and Modern Pain Management to any one suffering with Sciatica and other conditions.

Dr. Herandi has helped me manage my pain levels since our move to Richmond in 2013. I have had RA for 35 years and he has offered me new procedures and meds that don't have opioids. My husband has been suffering from bad knee pain for years. He doesn’t have insurance so we didn’t do anything, thinking that it would cost too much. I heard about Modern Pain Management & decided to give it a try. Dr. Harandi has been excellent- so nice & straightforward. My husband had a steroid shot by Dr. Harandi in each knee just under 48 hours ago & he is pretty much pain free in one knee & the other knee is an 85 to 90% reduction in pain. We were able to do 1 payment for the MRI & have 1 more payment in 30 days. The total cost for two doctors visits, a urinalysis, MRI of both knees & steroid shots in both knees is $1451. Way less than we thought it would cost & more than worth it for my husband’s pain to be gone! We will be setting another appointment with Dr. Harandi as soon as my husband needs a second set of shots. We highly recommend Dr. Harandi!!!

The two ladies at the Sugar-land Location, one worked the front desk her name Jolisa I think on 8-19-22 and Carolina a medical assistant were caring to my needs and showed a lot of patience with me to resolve my issue. Dr.Atallah and the group at Modern Pain Management are the absolute best out there. I used to be bed ridden and suffering in pain (a 8/9 daily) until I started seeing them. Now I'm fully functional and my pain is completely manageable usually a 2, and am back to having a normal life. I cannot stress how life changing my care here has been! They care about the paitens and will work with you until they find a solution. I'm on less medication than I had ever been with a higher quality of life.

Dr. Burnette and her assistant Lizzy are the best!!! I have been seeing them for a few years prior to them becoming a part of the Modern Pain Management team. Dr Burnette truly listens to my concerns, she is the sweetest and nicest, and she sincerely cares about managing my pain. The rest of the staff here are also great. I have been treated at both locations and would highly recommend both facilities to anyone in need of pain management.

I'd recommend anyone in pain to go see Dr. Burnette. She's the best!!! She's extremely knowledgeable, she has an awesome bedside manner, she truly listens to your issues, and she sincerely cares about her patients. Conveniently located in Sugar Land off Dairy Ashford near 90. The staff is great, Dr. Burnette's medical assistant, Lizzy is amazing as well.

Doctor Harandi was compassionate. He listened and gave me his full attention. The meds he gave me were helpful for the pain without making me “dopey” or sleepy. I would highly recommend him to anyone especially to one with chronic severe pain. He won’t quit until he finds something that will help you.

I first met Dr. Shirvin Hurandi in June 2020. This was my first experience visiting a pain-management physician. My history of living with discomfort is lengthy, so, when I finally met Dr. Hurandi,. I found a warm, caring and concerned doctor. It is nice to know that medication can be reasonably prescribed with continued follow-up. If you live with chronic pain, this office may be able to help. Give the office a call.

Dr. Shervin Harandi, and his entire staff are truly remarkable. The entire office is very friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Iris, Henry, and everyone in the office are exceptional. I have been suffering from severe pain for 10 years and it got so bad this year that I made the call to Modern Pain Management. The pain was so bad I could not sleep or do my work. I have owned my own successful business for over 35 years and I could not function anymore. That phone call changed my life! I have a completely torn shoulder rotor cup and damaged disks in my back/neck and the pain became unbearable. After seeing the incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, Dr. Shervin Harandi I can now sleep and perform my work again. I had one injection in my shoulder and the pain has totally gone away. I have also had one injection in my neck and that has helped my neck pain tremendously. My neck will require two more injections and my shoulder will require surgery and of course Dr. Shervin Harandi has a plan for all of this. Believe me, I have had the neck and shoulder injury for 35+ years and it just kept getting worse. So, if you have pain and need a pain plan, injection, or surgery then do yourself a favor and call Modern Pain Management now. I had no idea that a doctor could make my pain go away. Dr. Hirandi is very cautious. he understood pain problem and how difficult for patients to admit the pain. Shot spine procedure was so quick and not painful even without anesthesia. I give four stars for stuff. But Doctor really deserved even more than 5.

Dr. Hirandi is very compassionate and understanding of my fibromyalgia. He listens to what helps and doesn’t help. He does not push medication but helps find the right combinations to tackle the fibro flares. He understands thc needs for pain management as well.

I give one star because their anesthesiologist is out of network and they asked me to pay $250 deposit for my procedure one day before my scheduled procedure. It would be better to notify up front... Make sure you asked if the anesthesiologist is in network. Save yourself time and money.

I just had an amazing experience with Dr. Harandi. I have suffered from abdominal pain for a little over 5 years. I have had 5 abdominal surgeries and have been to roughly 24 different doctors and clinic's with no relief. I finally decided to seek management for my pain. It was the best decision I ever made. I am not disappointed. He listened to everything I had to say and we came up with a plan to get me pain free. I just had my first injection and what a difference. I walked in with a pain level of 9 and I am down to a 3. I can sit without pain and cough without holding my stomach muscles. He has given me hope when I had absolutely none. The office staff is very friendly as well...which just makes the experience that much better. I can't say thank you enough!! I would highly recommend Dr. Harandi to anyone who suffers from not only pain but specifically abdominal pain. He has a special gift in this area that I trust completely.

I have been VERY pleased with Dr. Atallah. He cares about his patients, and their quality of life, and does great work. I went through 9 months of physical therapy a year after having major back surgery only to find out the pain I was in was due to some scar tissue impacting nerves. I was in excruciating pain, and he did a nerve ablation and it took care of it.

Dr. Zehra Hooda is the kindest, most caring, and brilliant physician I’ve met. She wants to help and does everything possible to improve quality of life. You can tell she cares deeply about her patients. I live two hours away, and she is worth every time I have to stop to stretch and every traffic jam to get there. Their facilities and staff are excellent, and the name “Modern Pain Management” is the perfect description. Many services offered I was not even aware of. I was scheduled for a fusion surgery in my lower back, but I had them take me off the schedule after my consultation with Dr. Hooda. She has discussed multiple treatment options that I never heard of from local physicians. I had a caudal injection with anesthesia in their Sugar Land location. It was so much easier than having to do it at an outpatient center, get checked in, and not being charged extra facility fees. I actually felt much more at ease and was given better attention at their facility. Dr. Hooda even came in before the procedure and explained what she was going to do, what to expect, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. If you’re scared of another surgery, or have pain that affects your quality of life, then I definitely recommend Dr. Hooda and Modern Pain Management.

I have been in a lot of discomfort for years. My neck and left shoulder has been the cause of so many painful days. A neighbor of mine suggested Modern Pain Management. I had all my paperwork done in advance which really helped speed up the process. I also collected all my MRI results in advance and brought them with me. I certainly didn’t want to go through another MRI if I didn’t have to. Dr Atallah met with me. He listened to me. He didn’t rush me. He was prepared. I’m not going to lie they will weed out scammers and people just looking for meds real quick. I’m clearly not one of those people. I didn’t want any pain pills at all. It’s not my thing. Dr Atallah is a cool guy. He is not stuffy, he jokes with you, he listens to you and asks questions. Caroline one of his nurses stood out to me. She was super friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel rushed in the least. I was able to have 4 trigger point injections on my first visit. Two days later I feel a lot better. I’m not perfect. But it’s a very good start. I’m able to do all of my normal tasks without discomfort. My goal is to have better range of motion with no pain. I’m not sure if this is going to be possible but only time will tell. I highly recommend Dr Atallah.

I have been going to Modern pain management for several years. I have nothing but good to say about Dr. Atalah and Dr. Burnette they are AMAZING!! I was facing no hope but double knee replacement surgery before going to them. They have performed several procedures over the years. I have a lot less pain and I have not had double knee replacement surgery. After several orthopedic surgeons with double and third opinions, saying I had no other alternative. They are just some of my angels on earth. Dr. ATALLAH is so good he is helping my daughter now with her pain issues. I discovered Modern Pain Management in 2018 after receiving a diagnosis of Sciatica in my left leg due to nerve compression and spinal stenosis. Dr. Harandi is an excellent physician and has provided years of expertise and guidance with the provision of corticosteroid injections in my spinal area. These injections have allowed me to lead a normal lifestyle without pain for long periods of time. My last injection was November 2020, and I have experienced no pain within a few weeks of the steroid therapy which lasted two years. Of course each patient will have a different experience concerning pain relief. However, my experience as his patient has been excellent. I have complete confidence in his ability to effectively treat this otherwise painful condition in order to bring pain relief. I highly recommend Dr. Harandi and Modern Pain Management to any one suffering with Sciatica and other conditions.

My husband has been suffering from bad knee pain for years. He doesn’t have insurance so we didn’t do anything, thinking that it would cost too much. I heard about Modern Pain Management & decided to give it a try. Dr. Harandi has been excellent- so nice & straightforward. My husband had a steroid shot by Dr. Harandi in each knee just under 48 hours ago & he is pretty much pain free in one knee & the other knee is an 85 to 90% reduction in pain. We were able to do 1 payment for the MRI & have 1 more payment in 30 days. The total cost for two doctors visits, a urinalysis, MRI of both knees & steroid shots in both knees is $1451. Way less than we thought it would cost & more than worth it for my husband’s pain to be gone! We will be setting another appointment with Dr. Harandi as soon as my husband needs a second set of shots. We highly recommend Dr. Harandi!!!

Dr. Atallah is the best. He has been able to give me some relief from internal shingles. I have seen numerous doctors and they couldn't help me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Burnette and her assistant Lizzy are the best!!! I have been seeing them for a few years prior to them becoming a part of the Modern Pain Management team. Dr Burnette truly listens to my concerns, she is the sweetest and nicest, and she sincerely cares about managing my pain. The rest of the staff here are also great. I have been treated at both locations and would highly recommend both facilities to anyone in need of pain management.

I'd recommend anyone in pain to go see Dr. Burnette. She's the best!!! She's extremely knowledgeable, she has an awesome bedside manner, she truly listens to your issues, and she sincerely cares about her patients. Conveniently located in Sugar Land off Dairy Ashford near 90. The staff is great, Dr. Burnette's medical assistant, Lizzy is amazing as well.

Doctor Harandi was compassionate. He listened and gave me his full attention. The meds he gave me were helpful for the pain without making me “dopey” or sleepy. I first met Dr. Shirvin Hurandi in June 2020. This was my first experience visiting a pain-management physician. My history of living with discomfort is lengthy, so, when I finally met Dr. Hurandi,. I found a warm, caring and concerned doctor. It is nice to know that medication can be reasonably prescribed with continued follow-up. If you live with chronic pain, this office may be able to help. Dr. Shervin Harandi, and his entire staff are truly remarkable. The entire office is very friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Iris, Henry, and everyone in the office are exceptional. I have been suffering from severe pain for 10 years and it got so bad this year that I made the call to Modern Pain Management. The pain was so bad I could not sleep or do my work. I have owned my own successful business for over 35 years and I could not function anymore. That phone call changed my life! I have a completely torn shoulder rotor cup and damaged disks in my back/neck and the pain became unbearable. After seeing the incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, Dr. Shervin Harandi I can now sleep and perform my work again. I had one injection in my shoulder and the pain has totally gone away. I have also had one injection in my neck and that has helped my neck pain tremendously. My neck will require two more injections and my shoulder will require surgery and of course Dr. Shervin Harandi has a plan for all of this. Believe me, I have had the neck and shoulder injury for 35+ years and it just kept getting worse. So, if you have pain and need a pain plan, injection, or surgery then do yourself a favor and call Modern Pain Management now. I had no idea that a doctor could make my pain go away. Dr. Hirandi is very cautious. he understood pain problem and how difficult for patients to admit the pain. Shot spine procedure was so quick and not painful even without anesthesia. I give four stars for stuff. But Doctor really deserved even more than 5.

Dr. Hirandi is very compassionate and understanding of my fibromyalgia. He listens to what helps and doesn’t help. He does not push medication but helps find the right combinations to tackle the fibro flares. He understands thc needs for pain management as well.

I am grateful to Dr. George Atallah. He did resolved professionally the issue on my original review. I definitely recommend Modern Pain Management. I am very happy with his treatment. Original Post: Nothing against the doctor, he took good care of me. I give one star because their anesthesiologist is out of network and they asked me to pay $250 deposit for my procedure one day before my scheduled procedure. It would be better to notify up front... Make sure you asked if the anesthesiologist is in network. Save yourself time and money.

I just had an amazing experience with Dr. Harandi. I have suffered from abdominal pain for a little over 5 years. I have had 5 abdominal surgeries and have been to roughly 24 different doctors and clinic's with no relief. I finally decided to seek management for my pain. It was the best decision I ever made. I am not disappointed. He listened to everything I had to say and we came up with a plan to get me pain free. I just had my first injection and what a difference. I walked in with a pain level of 9 and I am down to a 3. I can sit without pain and cough without holding my stomach muscles. He has given me hope when I had absolutely none. The office staff is very friendly as well...which just makes the experience that much better. I can't say thank you enough!! I would highly recommend Dr. Harandi to anyone who suffers from not only pain but specifically abdominal pain. He has a special gift in this area that I trust completely.

I have been VERY pleased with Dr. Atallah. He cares about his patients, and their quality of life, and does great work. I went through 9 months of physical therapy a year after having major back surgery only to find out the pain I was in was due to some scar tissue impacting nerves. I was in excruciating pain, and he did a nerve ablation and it took care of it.

After years of endless doctors appointments due to a rare bunch of neurological disorders, finding someone who would truly listen and act was a challenge. Houston's Top Pain Management Doctor. The office is very clean modern decorated and his office employees are super helpful and friendly. Dr. Cares about each patient and talks to you not over you. He genuinely cares about your individual care. I am under his care for my pain pump and have had no problems with adjustments or pump refills. I highly recommend Modern Pain Management. Wait time is 10-15 minutes and you are seen right away. Great Doctor.
