Highly recommend Dr. Thrasher and his team. I struggled with my weight and diabetes for years and just couldn’t gain any headway until being referred to Dr. Thrasher. Under his care, changes began to happen within a month. Over the last 18 months I have been able to lose 130#, gotten my A1C within range, and said goodbye to a lot of the medicines that had been added in over the years Very pleased with my results!!!

10 out of 10 recommend going to see him. After years of struggling with my diabetes he finally took the time to explain how my insulin was working. Super friendly stuff. Great dr. I had to be rescheduled twice due to unforseen circumstances but I finally got to see him. Im brown away.

Dr. Thrasher took more than enough time to listen to my concerns. I have adrenal insufficiency and have seen several Endocrinologists trying to seek help with the condition. Dr. Thrasher was very knowledgeable and was able to help me after my first appointment. He was truly a life saver, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If anyone ever needs an endocrinologist Dr Thrasher is the best. When I started going to Dr Thrasher my diabetes was not controlled. I first started with insulin injections. Dr Thrasher suggested for me to try going on the Medtronic insulin pump. I took his recommendation and got on the pump and it was great. My sugar got to normal after a while and I remained on the pump for 5 or 6 years. During the 3 months between my visits my glucose levels stayed perfect and my insulin pump did not have to give any insulin. I was able to get off the pump and Dr Thrasher put me on mounjaro. I have been on this for 4 months and my glucose is still perfect. Dr Thrasher is one of the best. If you go to him and listen what he suggests and he can help you too. Thank you Dr Thrasher and all who works for you I say you saved my life.

I had an Eversense 1 year continuous glucose monitor inserted today Every one was so nice They explained every thing before and as it was done Dr Thrasher made sure I was comfortable He is down to earth and very nice the nurses were knowledgeable I'm so happy a whole year of knowing my glucose, without sticking my finger It was easy took 10 minutes the only bad thing was numbing medicine. I had a new patient appointment today. I switched to Dr. Thrasher because I wasn’t getting answers or information from my previous doctor. He far exceeded my expectations. He was thorough and helped me understand the “why†behind my medical condition. I have so much peace now. I am so grateful that he took the time to answer my questions and teach me about what is happening with me. If you are looking for a doctor who listens, who has an amazing bedside manner, and who has an office staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, look no further.

Dr. Thrasher has been my endocrinologist for about 13 years, and I have always found him and his staff to be caring, proficient and professional. I want to especially commend Kelcy, whose kind heart and joyful spirit always brighten my day!

I have been seeing Dr. Thasher for years he is the best doctor for someone like me that has diabetes his group takes such great care of me he is kind and a very knowledgeable in his field he has put me on a new treatment and in a three month period my A1C has lowered from 7.7 to 6.2 I love the new medication treatment I have been put on I don’t have to stick my fingers I use a sensor that reads my blood sends it to my pump and my phone that is the best thing the one thing my grandmother born in 1891 would have said is it is better than sliced bread! But as far as I’m concerned Dr James Thasher he is kind highly intelligent nice great person I was Blessed to have been referred to him by other doctors he is the best ! Have aBlessed Day

I started seeing Dr Thrasher in December 2024, my A1C was a 10. 7 months later as of 7-30-2025 my A1C is a 6.8. Dr Thrasher guided me in the right direction with different combinations of Insulin and medications, it’s been a lot of work on my part on trying to eat the right stuff and I walk 6 miles a week. I thought I would never get to this point, so if you feel you can’t do this you can, keep working at it and don’t give up, I still have a ways to go to get around 5 or below. I know I can do this with the help of Dr Thrasher and me staying on track. I was so excited when Dr Thrasher told me my A1C was a 6.8. Thank You Dr Thrasher for working with me!

I felt like I was priority from the time I walk through the door. The receptionists were patient and pleasant. Dr. Pinkerton acted as though she had no other patients to see today. She answered every question. And she was very thorough. Made feel like not I, but we can do this.

I’m a type one diabetic. Dr. Thrasher has helped me so much in my journey of becoming healthier and more efficient with my disease. He is highly up-to-date on the new technology and takes the time to explain what’s best for me. He has a patient-focused attitude, and it shows in every appointment. I would recommend Dr. Thrasher to anyone with type 1 diabetes. He is a step above the rest!

I had struggled with my A1C for years, I was on one med that just was not working. In December I seen Sara Pinkerton, and she switched me to a new med, noticing that what I was taking was not working. Now, 4 months later, my A1C is now in the 6's and I have lost 19 pounds! Sara was truly concerned about getting me under control and her kindness and genuineness were evident! THANK YOU, SARA!!! I feel so much better than I did 4 months ago, and it was because you listened and made the right changes!!!

After having been diagnosed with T2 diabetes by my PCP, I was prescribed various medications with no effect. I met with Kate Cameron at AR Diabetes & Endocrinology. She spotted an obscure anomaly in my bloodwork, and forwarded a blood sample to a specialized lab in Colorado, where it was determined that I am in fact T1, not T2. After being correctly diagnosed, treatment was easy and srraightforward; my blood sugar level and A1C almost immediately dropped to normal levels and are rock steady. Had Kate not picked up on the odd reading of one enzyme in my blood, I would have probably continued to be unsuccessfully treated for the wrong disease! Thanks, Kate- you're the best.

I have seen several doctors over the last 10 years of having diabetes and different issues with my thyroid gland and adrenal gland. I’ve always been kind of given a bandaid fix and passed on. Not here. Dr Pinkerton is AMAZING!! She was so thorough and for the first time in years I felt heard! She is taking care of several issues that I used to have to see many doctors for. She intelligent, informative, and really knowledgeable. I was please by everyone I dealt with. I had labs drawn and the girl (Trecie) was already getting blood before I even realized she stuck the needle in!! I never felt it!! The receptionist was so kind and made checking in/out soo easy. Then another lab tech helped me to understand some of my upcoming tests and even fave me information papers about it. I honestly felt like I was the only patient on earth and they were all catering to my needs. My husband was so impressed he actually has scheduled an appt to be seen also. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have been so blessed by my relationship with Dr. Thrasher. I am fully convinced by my experience ...the results I have gained with the Medtronic 780g. He is a passionate research scientist working to serve others! I challenge anyone to please give Dr. Thrasher's Team a chance to serve you. With deep respect and admiration! Michael Luke Flesher. At my most recent appointment, Dr. Thrasher took my insulin pump into his own hands and programmed changes and handed it back to me. That paints a picture of a very special person. He counseled me at the same time. I am a very disciplined...eager to study and use my pump effectively. I work with mine 24/7 now for several months. He knew the device better than I did.

Tonya and Grace are so friendly and helpful receptionists. Sara Pinkerton, PA-C was very thorough in her communication of what’s going on with my health. Cynthia in the lab was conscientiously handling the paperwork required and drawing my labs for testing. I was very impressed with everyone at the Arkansas Diabetes and Endocrinology Center.

Today I was a new patient with Sara Pinkerton. The most amazing experience I have every had. From checking in at the front desk to the nurse to Sara was amazing. Customer service top notch patient care top notch. So happy I was referred to this clinic. Please keep up the good work.

My mom has been dealing with unstable blood sugar for years. It’s caused a lot of issues to her health. And within a month of seeing Kate Carmon, PA-C she was able to successfully diagnose my mothers condition. This is giving us so much hope. My mom had seen multiple other endocrinologists over the course of 15+ years. And no diagnosis. But within one month? It’s awesome. We’re super happy and recommend this office to anyone.

I truly believe Dr. Thrasher changed my life. I’ve been a T1D for 15 years and I have seen my fair share of endocrinologist. A friend told me about Dr. Thrasher and I am forever thankful she did. The only time my blood sugars have ever been below a 9 are after under his care. He has never brushed off any concerns or questions I've had. He always takes his time to explain anything new or different. He and his staff are top notch!!

Meeting Dr. Thrasher today was an excellent experience. I was recently dx and wanted an second opinion. He was patient with me being very thorough and detailed. Working in healthcare myself, I was very pleased with his bedside manner. I hadn't seen that in a while. I would recommend anyone who experience any endocrinology disorders to see him. Oh, and my appointment wasnt scheduled for another month, and because someone had a cancellation, they called me in. So Thankful for visit to day

They dropped the ball and let me fall through the cracks. And I got so much worse because of it. All the great ratings. Mine too until my body got really bad from neglect because I believed I was fine but was far from it. My rating was a 5 star. Everyone IS friendly there.

I come to you today to offer a word of thanks to you and your lovely staff. Your service to me was second to none and it started at the front door. The ladies behind the windows are so nice to the patients and they seem to understand us so well. It is not always easy to be polite and cheerful with the pressures of life always present from home and the work place but they manage it well They treated me like I was someone special. You are at the top of your game too because you uncovered a life threatening issue and I thank you 🙠and your team for coming to the plate and hitting a grand slam for me. Due to your efforts my life was spared. You don’t always get a second chance at life but you saved my life. I don’t have enough time or space to express myself about the exceptional service I received. The receptionist Jeri that checked me in was the sweetest. Also doctor assistance was very kind and caring. Now doctor Thrasher was the greatest. He explained everything to me in detail. I highly recommend doctor Thrasher to anyone who is a diabetic.

For my initial visit, I was greated by a wonderful receptionist!! She was sooo sweet!! I was then called back immediately by an MA, Leslie. Leslie was so nice and she listen to everything that I had to say. I was then met by a PA. Ruth Clemmons PA, was very educational and explained everything very wonderfully. She explained everything with different examples for me to better understand her. When going to check out, I checked out with Gerri. She was very nice and highly talked about her coworkers. All in all, I had a wonderful experience!! Edit: after a year of being a patient here, I am now seeing Dr. Thrasher, which is equally just as wonderful. He is personal and also just as educational. The front desk girls are still just as welcoming, and the MA just as nice. My diabetes has NEVER BEEN BETTER!! I will forever highly recommend this office for all Endo needs!!

I absolutely enjoyed my visit today. Neely (hope I spell her name correctly) was patient, kind, listened, allowed me to share my thoughts and concerns and overall showed compassion and care. After months of feeling blah, I left there feeling hopeful. Thank you to this wonderful team and office. She was knowledgeable in what my concerns were and in her plan of treatment. I can’t forget absolutely the wonderful lady (I believe her name was Lindsay) that got me scheduled and was patient after all my calls to get my appointment. She was never rude or impatient and understood my concern to be seen.

I have been a patient at ADEC for a little over 2 years now and I am thrilled with the care provided and the results we’ve achieved. I am now seeing the best A1C levels I’ve achieved under any Endocrinology team. Neely, Ashley, Cassidy, Jackie and with my recent visit, Dr Thrasher and Kelsey have always been professional, encouraging, extremely helpful and genuinely concerned with improving my health.

This was my first visit, I was impressed. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. The PA I saw was sensitive to my condition and needs. She took the time to explain my test results, my condition and plan of action. She was patient and answered all of my questions. I’m thankful I was referred there and feel like I have received another chance at life. THANK YOU!!!

Dr.Thrasher and his entire team were absolutely wonderful! From the time we checked in, everyone was very attentive. Dr.Thrasher took time to sit and talk with us about my mother’s issues and he thought of everything that he could to help us figure out what’s going on. I was so grateful that he took the time to actually listen to our concerns. He didn’t just blow us off, he thought of other things that may be done to help her, I’m forever grateful 🙂
