Freedom is throwing away all my back, hip, knee supports in the trash because Dr. Zagunis made me new again. He took 40 years off my back. I am so grateful to have had Dr. Zagunis recommend to us by my wife’s friend. No more pain walking, sitting, standing!!!!!!!

Great experience! I was hesitant to go to another pain management clinic. The last two clinics I went to did not seem interested in solving the problem. They continued to push meds and the same injections despite being ineffective for years. Dr Z's beside manner is the best. He listened to my concerns and when I had issues with medication and steroid injections were ineffective, he immediately switched treatment plans and did diagnostic injections in an attempt to get to the root of the cause and fix it, not just treat the pain. It's been the best experience by far, and I would definitely recommend him

Dr.Z is the best in San Antonio. His injections work so well, he's so knowledgeable and shows you exactly what is going on with you. I wouldn't put my back in anyone else's hands. Staff are awesome too.

I found Dr. Zagunis after my previous physician took a position out of town. I'm glad I did! Dr. Zagunis impressed me immediately when he took extra time to explain what exactly was happening with my pain and how he planned to address it. I've had injections in my hips and back for several years and got some reasonable relief in the past. My first treatment with Dr. Zagunis however, was amazing. The injections were pretty much painless and the relief I've been experiencing thus far has been phenomenal. I've been able to cut my pain meds back to almost nothing. Scheduling has been convenient and everyone there has been very accommodating. Marlene is always pleasant and helpful while Ronnie has been efficient and friendly when getting me ready for my injections. I highly recommend Dr. Zagunis and his staff. You won't be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zagunis for about 7+ years and if Dr. Zagunis wasn’t the most competent pain doctor I’ve experienced, I would’ve never gone back. If you want great long term results that help you to get back to doing the things you love or need to do everyday and not a quick fix bandaid, Dr. Zagunis is your guy. Dr. Zagunis gives excellent care and expects excellence in his office staff/nursing staff, as well. Marlene in the front office is smart, respectful and such a delight. Ronnie, one of the nurses, is friendly, gentle, yet professional and just an all around nice guy. I think he prides himself on his IV technique, as he should! I’m a huge wimp but he’s good! I live with herniated discs, neck and lower spine along with degenerative disc disease so this is an ongoing reality for me, however, because of the procedures Dr. Zagunis has done for me, relief from pain is much better today than it was before I became his patient. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a doctor before but Dr. Z. definitely deserves one.

I’m glad Dr. Zagunis is back in town. In over three years I had a hard time finding a doctor who could treat my back pain. Thank you Dr. Zagunis
