I've been at this location multiple time for myself and my family. The staff are very efficient and always make sure to answer all of our concerns while takingcare of our emergency. They have in house X-ray services which is very convenient, and our prescriptions are always send to the pharmacy right away. I appreciate the cleanliness as well.

Prima Urgent Care is my preferred urgent care clinic by far. I consistently have had positive experiences when I’ve come in for Covid/ flu testing and examining injuries. All staff have been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They have an x-ray in house, which is extremely convenient. I have nothing but positive things to say!!

I am a regular patient at Prima Medicine but this was my first experience having Prima Medicine Urgent Care and I was highly impressed with this clinic in comparison to many other urgent cares. The registration process was quick and easy. The wait time was low, 5 mins before I was called back to a room. Michelle was my dedicated medical assistant, she was kind and patient. She explained every aspect of each procedure prior to starting and during the process for my x-ray and EKG. the NP was very patient and kind as well. She listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. Hand wrote instructions for over the counter medication recommendations and how/when to take the medication. The entire experience was unmatched for what you think an urgent care visit would be. The clinic is very clean and staff are top tier.

Thank you Prima urgent care!! I was having a horrible morning and thankfully was able to see Dr. Njomo right as the Fairfax location opened at 8am. I usually go to Prima Medicine, which is in the same building, but unfortunately could not get a same day appointment. Making an appointment via the Prima Urgent Care app was so easy and I’m so grateful for this office for being able to see me asap. Dr. Njomo and her staff that were working that day, especially the nurse named Michelle, were amazing! If you ever need medical attention asap I highly recommended Prima Urgent Care.

I was fortunate enough to have a virtual visit on the day I came down with Covid. The Doctor with whom I visited with virtually was kind, caring, and thorough. When my pharmacy called to verify if there might be an interaction between Paxlovid and another medicine that I was taking, the Doctor called me immediately to straighten things out which helped put me on to the road to recovery that much faster. This is the second or third time I’ve used Prima Urgent Care Fairfax and I highly recommend them!

This was my first visit to Prima which recently opened in a shopping center near me where I shop regularly. My audiologist told me I needed to get my ears cleaned and said some Urgent Care clinics would do it. I walked into Prima on Fair Ridge Dr. in Fairfax and was pleasantly welcomed and very efficiently checked in. Two very competent Medical Assistants did all the preliminaries- weight, blood pressure, risk assessment- and almost immediately, Susan, the NP, came in, checked my ears and set up the equipment to do the cleaning. She explained everything she was doing as she did the procedure. She was quick, caring, professional and personable. The whole process took less than 30 minutes and I just walked out the door to go to Harris Teeter and do my grocery shopping. I highly recommend this Prima Immediate Care location.

I went to Prima urgent care when I tested positive for Covid at home. The tool me to the examination room right away and after having my vitals measured and test samples taken, nurse practitioner, Kelly, visited me and gave prescription and advise. I could tell they were a little short-staffed but they still delivered excellent service and got me in and out quickly! I went in for an ear infection that had spread to my jaw and Susane gave me detailed and clear instructions on care and treatment, and prescribed me antibiotics (which is hard since I’m allergic to all the main ones). This was my first time visiting this urgent care and I could honestly said I had a wonderful experience. I had been very sick the last two days and anxious to get a diagnosis. I was able to get an appointment from my phone and 30 minutes after I made my appointment I was already meeting with a doctor. I got a diagnosed pretty quickly and luckily due to their location near a grocery store. I was able to get my prescription in 15 minutes. I was greeted by a receptionist who used my name, a nurse who was very polite and a Doctor Who is very experienced. I would return to this place again.

Update: My 2nd visit to this location rendered a different experience from the billing angle. I paid in full the first time and accordingly no insurance claim was filed. I paid in full again the second time I went to this urgent care on 12/9, but this time they did file a claim with my insurance company so now I'm having to clean up this mess as no money should be owed to anyone. Additionally, by filing this claim, this urgent care has caused me to lose one of my very few doctor's visits allotted in my policy plan for the policy year that is about to expire in two months. The physical care was pretty good. The administrative care, not so much. This should not have happened. I don't know what you have to do because I thought I covered all the bases, but if you are engaging in a self-pay arrangement, such as paying in full before you leave the clinic like I did, get some kind of written assurance that there will be no follow up claims or billing taking place. I am pleased to report my positive experience at Prima Immediate Care with Ms. Njomo, NP and the staff on duty mid-day, 4/12/2024. I received diagnostic testing onsite that helped determine next steps and an Rx to address asthma-like symptoms which was filled and waiting for me by the time by the time I made it to CVS after leaving the urgent care center. The facility is exceptionally clean and well-appointed. Everyone was very nice and attentive to my concerns. I was not rushed and appreciated everyone's willingness to listen to what I had to say along with the thoroughness of their answers to my questions. After I arrived, two sets of parents with children came in, and I observed them to be immediately processed and seen to. This urgent care facility appears to be well-organized and efficient-- staffed with very pleasant and patient medical professionals. This was my first time to seek out help from an urgent care, and I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I was to be tended to in the manner I was which went a long way to reducing the stress and anxiety I was feeling in that moment. I would definitely recommend the Fair Ridge location. For primary medical care, I also see the medical professionals associated with this urgent care, Prima Medicine, and also can recommend their care, as well.

First class service from start to finish. I arrived around 12:45 PM on a Saturday which was about 15 minutes early expecting a long wait time as was my former experience with other urgent care facilities. I was pleasantly surprised that the person at the front desk greeted and checked me in right away. A brief time later I was being attended to. PBR Susane Njomo was very professional, listened to my concerns and came up with a solution to remedy my situation. This is certainly the world class approach I have been looking for and highly recommend Prima Immediate Care in Fairfax to others as well.

Friday during the snow storm I woke up with pink eye. I really needed to get medication as part of my business I see clients in their homes and as we know this is very contagious. The walking in clinic I usually go to was closed due to the weather even though the roads were clear and my doctors office also was closed. I knew Prima Care just opened next to Harris Teeter so I drove there to check and they were open! I was in and out with my script for anti-biotic eye drops. They get 5 Gold stars for being open during a snow event.

I came at 10 AM and got out in 20 mins. Pretty fast! Facility is very clean! I only wish the front desk staffs were smile a bit more! ?? I mean do you want to walk in a place where it is not welcoming? A hi and a smile could put a smile on someone’s face a lot! ??

Some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. Friendly and professional at the same time. From the time I walked through the door to the time I left couldn’t have been more than 30 minutes. In that time I was given a thorough examination and all paperwork was taken care of in an efficient manner.

Very prompt, friendly service. Kelly, the NP was great! Did chest X-ray and took history, wrote prescription and I was on my way. Followed up with report same day. Great experience, will be back!
