My almost 5yo son had a few episodes ear infection/ache in a row and I'm happy I found Dr. Chu to help us. First of all I was surprised that it's possible to make an appointment and see the doctor fast, without waiting a few weeks. The lady in reception was really kind and helpful. Dr.Chu checked my son and fully explained the problem, was very patient, attentive and professional. I'm grateful for Dr Chu and highly recommend him.

I am SOOOOO glad my standard ENT doctor was too busy to see me (for a 3-week-long nose infection!), b/c it allowed me to look for someone close to my UT office. I see different doctors every week almost, and Dr Chu is truly AMAZING, as a doctor & a human. Somehow Dr Chu had loads of available appointments (at least in the summer, when many clients may be traveling, I guess?). That kind of flexiblity will be extremely valuable for any busy person, and for acute issues (which would seem to be common in the ENT world). He had the time to come to the front to meet me (I didn't even sit down!), jump on the phone to talk to me with his receptionist (a few days later, as my PCR-swab test results came back), discuss all the types of antibiotics my telehealth & PCP doctors had suggested (& weigh in on how the med my excellent PCP prescribed would have upset my stomach, even though I had warned her about my sensitivity), etc. (I ask a lot of questions, and like someone who has researched various topics.) Dr Chu seems wonderfully smart, eager + kind, & VERY well-versed in nose infection issues. I am so fortunate my PCP recommended I visit with an ENT & my regular ENT was too busy (& probably continues to be too busy). I'm going to head to Dr Chu from now on, and I hope others will too. (E.g., all UT students & many faculty & staff can just walk over.) Honestly, I can't see another Austin ENT competing at this level of care for the issue I had. Moreover, Dr Chu's front desk & phone staff were all great with me. They are not medical experts, but they were a delight. I have high standards, so it's rare that I give 5 stars.

What an amazing dr! He thoroughly explained everything in great detail my son's breathing issues. He's kind, knowledgeable and down to earth. Thanks Dr Chu Misty & Austin

I was very impressed with Dr. Chu. First off, just a very nice guy. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest. I was getting a second opinion as I didn't want to spend the money on a rhinoplasty along with a deviated septum. Dr. Chu was real with me and let me know what I needed even though it's not something he does. Very grateful for the honest assessment.

I came in February for a sinus infection. Not only was Dr. Chu very knowledgable, but he thoroughly read through my medical history and knew everything about me before stepping into the room to me, as a first time patient. I have a lot of medical anxiety, but Dr. Chu was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. He also recommended I get my wisdom teeth out (for good reason). After putting it off for six months, I finally had them all removed. Had I not been told straight up by a doctor, I probably would have put it off even longer. I feel a lot of relief now, so thank you. In addition to the care I received in February, I had a safety concern with another man in the building. Due to the details of the situation, I called back the next day to ask some questions about it. Not only was the woman at the front desk understanding and nice about it, but she also talked to Dr. Chu about it while I stayed on the line. This is absolutely a doctor I could trust.

I highly recommend Dr Chu, everyone in his office is friendly and professional. He knows his stuff and you can tell he really cares about his patients. Unfortunately it seems like newer doctors are going into medicine for selfish ends and Dr Chu is part of a dying breed. And his reception/assistants are very nice as well.

Was very happy with my visit to Dr Chu! He eased my worries and explained things in terms that were very easy to understand. When I was worried about hearing loss he even offered to administer a hearing exam. Would recommend!

I highly reccomend Dr. Chu! He has a great personality and makes me feel at ease with all of my weird questions. I had a great, quick appointment and didn't feel hesitant in his professionalism. He was so nice to all of the kids that came in and the receptionists were great too! Thank you Dr. Chu!!!!!

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Chu. He was very professional, friendly, a wealth of knowledge and experience and great insight----all qualities that I look for in a doctor. He was able to pinpoint my health issue and I now have a clearer pathway to treatment. Thank you!

Incredibly happy with my visit to Dr. Chu. I recently had a septoplasty by another ENT. I thought I was having some structural issues with my septum post-op and I was being dismissed by my surgeon that performed the surgery; so I came to Dr. Chu for a second opinion. Dr. Chu provided a very detailed explanation as to what was going on and why. He was so kind and knowledgeable and put me at ease. What a cool guy. Definitely go see him if you're having any nose issues!

My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed by Dr. Chu. Our appointment was on time and his office staff friendly. The surgery was amazing and my child was talking the same day! She had very little pain. Dr. Chu is very nice and my daughter liked him so much she wants to be an ENT. I highly recommend him.

That was probably the most positive experience I've ever had with a doctor. I liked the online scheduling and the ability to fill out the forms online as well. I barely had any wait. Dr. Chu took his time to make sure all my questions were answered. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand, yet he was still very thorough and detailed. He went out of his way to find the right treatment plan for me. He helped me with navigating insurance and to be sure I wasn't being overcharged for prescriptions. He's extremely friendly. All in all, he feels like what a doctor should be, focusing on the needs of his patient first and foremost. It's hard to put into words all the reasons that I would highly recommend Dr. Chu.

Hands down the best Doctor experience I've had since moving to Austin a year ago. I came off the strength of these Google Map reviews and they didn't lie. Dr. Chu was very attentive to my needs, took the time to explain to me all the possibilities as to why my ears were acting the way they were, and mad some great recommendations for preventative care. If you ever need to see an ENT in Austin, he is your guy. Very comprehensive. The other members of his practice were also very pleasant.

I have great experience with Dr. Chu's clinic. The staff is very friendly, easy to make reservations, and more importantly, Dr. Chu helps my issue immediately with very reasonable price! I highly recommend Dr. Chu.

Very helpful. Very informative and clear about the whole process. Great bedside manner, answered all questions. Had surgery for a broken nose. I am new to Austin and it got broken during the move! Dr. Chu was recommended by my close friend's dad who is a primary care doctor in the area! Other reviews mentioned new office staff that were slow. There was a young lady, she was very friendly and wasnt slow so if its the same lady she has learned!! We were all new at some point! Also, I only waited for maybe 5 minutes to be seen after checking in. And some one mention $400 for the visit. I just have student health care and my copay was only $40 total. So not sure what happened with their insurance. I have bluecross blueshield ppo. Insurance can be so confusing and frustrating but I asked and checked that before I went and they were happy to check for me before the visit just to be safe. My brother-in-law is still paying off a ER bill 3yrs later and he had insurance so if you are not sure def call and check, I get it!

I first needed an ENT about a year ago, and Dr. Chu's name came up. I didn't select him at first because he didn't have as many reviews as the other person. I have had the opportunity since then to have appointments with Dr. Chu and I can say he deserves 5 stars. I want to add to his reviews for people like myself who are unsure. He is knowledgeable and kind. When I am in his office he always smiles and says things to comfort me. He reminds me of nice doctors I had when I was a kid. Another thing I like about him is that he respects my decisions and wishes when it comes to my care.

Both my daughter and I have had great experiences with Dr. Chu. Not only did he take care of our immediate issues, he is great at explaining confusing events that occur in medicine and setting proper expectations for medical procedures.

He is an amazing doctor. I do not like seeing doctors, because I don't feel comfortable around them but he made me feel very comfortable. I am glad he was able to help me with my awful ear pain. My appointment did not take long. It was fast and to the point. Thank you Dr. Chu for helping me feel better than before. His staff was very friendly as well. I definitely recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Chu was excellent. He was funny, compassionate and most of all, smart. He took his time with me. He gave me what I needed to know to get healthy, and really knows his stuff! I would highly recommend him.

Dr.Chu is amazing !! He is a fantastic doctor I get the exact day I request when scheduling appointments he is super nice and polite and the staff is nice as well. The doctors office is clean very well kept .

Just got surgery for enlarged turbinates and did a good job. He's friendly and a cool guy.
