Alright! So. I don't really write these things all that often so it didn't occur to me that it was a way to express my gratitude. I'll start with a little history. I am originally from Colorado where medicade patients are about 70/30 on getting good care. So it can take a little bit of time to get good help but not long. I have been in Maryland for a little over 5 years now and burned through a lot of places that treat insurance as opposed to their patients. Elite Primary Care Group has been the diamond in the iron mine. Their staff is pleasant and remember most patients that walk in by face alone. They understand the dance they have to do with insurance and have the willpower to sit on a phone for hours to get their treatment approved. I have never seen the like before and doubt very much i'll see it again. I drive down from Hagerstown gladly to walk into that heavy door knowing full well that on the other side I am going to have a smooth experience with people that care. My primary is Doctor Azizi and her team and staff are just as amazing as I described. I am simply in awe at the skill and devotion these medical professionals show each time I visit. I am slow to trust in general but there is not a single soul in that building that I wouldn't trust with my life and longevity. They have earned their name when they go by "Elite." Hopefully this office is around for a very long time because I'd be very sad if something happened to it. Reasons I am writing this. Preemptively assisting in any future problems! Dr. Kapoor is always very willing to help and she listens to your needs. I have had several PCPs in the last few years and she is by far the best. I also would like to give a shout out to Finesse who is extremely friendly and helped me with my paperwork on several occasions. Just like any doctors office, there are times they can run behind, but overall I would recommend this office.(My fiancee and I both go here).

Dr. Kapoor and all the office staff are so helpful and friendly. I really appreciate the care and time I have to talk to Dr. Kapoor and ask questions. It's been years since I've had a PCP that puts this much effort and care into my health. Highly recommend!

When I have a question about, or an issue with medication, they get back to me in a timely manner. They don't leave me twisting in the wind like some other practices.

They have a really efficient and caring attentive team, from the staff who help get you in/ solve any issues quickly (be it paperwork or lab/third party issue) to the doctors who provide you with detailed advice. I have been seeing Doctor Kapoor a few times, and I cannot recommend her caring nature and high work ethic, along with her amazing staff, enough!

Dr. Azizi is, by FAR. the best primary care doctor I have ever had. I have worked with her over the past year and I absolutely adore her and her staff!!! She takes her time during each appointment to answer any questions I may have. She's referred me to specialists I feel confident with. She was able to get me into see a cardiologist 2 days after my appointment with her. She honestly cares. She is thorough and compassionate. I recommend Elite Primary Care and Dr. Azizi without hesitation!

I found Elite Primary Care Group on Google after praying and asking God to provide a physician that would help me in a sincere way. Dr Azizi is that Doctor for me. She took on this not so uncomplicated patient that was looking desperately for answers. After a dozen of appointments here I can tell you she has always demonstrated kindness, compassion and empathy. She is a Doctor that wants to serve and find you resolutions. She wants me healthy and that’s so refreshing! Her staff is absolutely wonderful! They are incredibly helpful and efficient with any questions or requests I have. I truly appreciate this group and so grateful to have found them!

If you are reading this review, then you should just call and schedule an appointment. The front staff is very welcoming and helpful. The nurses call you back with a smile and continue that welcome feeling. I saw Dr. Azizi for my yearly exam. She's patient and she listens. You will not feel rushed or unheard. Schedule the appointment and thank me later.

I am a new patient with Elite Primary. I saw Dr. Kapoor for my yearly physical. The staff and Dr. Kapoor listened to me and took a thorough history. The doctor ordered an annual blood screening. The results showed a few levels out of the normal range. I was concerned but Dr. Kapoor put my mind at ease. I ask a lot of questions but she was patient and understanding.

As a physician, I can 100% and unequivocally endorse Dr.Kapoor and Dr.Azizi as amazing primary care physicians who are knowledgeable and compassionate. We recently moved to Frederick, MD and transferred our primary care to Elite Primary Care Group, and we could not be happier with their care. Both Drs.Azizi and Kapoor have a wide breadth of medical knowledge, take the time to listen to your concerns, and treat you with the utmost respect. We will continue coming here for years to come, and I have no reservations recommending these wonderful physicians and their office to anyone.

This is my first Google review. I usually don't provide reviews. This office deserves a review. The Elite Primary Care Group is wonderful. I have had such a wonderful experience with them in such a short period of time. The staff is warm and welcoming. Dr. Kapoor is very sweet, knowledgeable and you feel her commitment into her patients well-being. I feel like I have known her forever. Talking to her feels like talking to a friend. I recently switch due to change in Insurance, however I am extremely satisfied and will continue with them. Extremely grateful patient. Thank you Dr. Kapoor and Team!!!?

I went to see Dr. Azizi for my first appointment. She is a wonderful doctor. She took the time to explain everything. She pointed me in right way to get my my health back on track. She was very kind and knowledgeable. Very happy with my visit!

Amazing experience! I was taken back two minutes before my appt, saw Dr Kapoor as a new patient, had a comprehensive exam, flu shot and labs drawn all within 35min! The staff and Dr Kapoor were friendly and approachable. When I called to schedule and then reschedule before this appointment the assistant answered the phone with no wait or minimal wait on hold and helped me get the appt scheduled without much difficulty.

What a great experience here. I needed to see a new primary care provider near me as my old one was over 45 minutes away. Dr Rita Kapoor was welcoming, non-judgmental and immediately addressed my health concerns. I feel like I’m finally on the path to improving my health. Dr Kapoor and the other staff members were all great to deal with. I was happy to be able to get multiple tests done like bloodwork on site. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing practice! From the receptionist to the doctors assistant to Dr. Azizi to the phlebotomist…wonderful care ALL the way around!! Their exceptional care was what I desperately needed on this day so I’m incredibly grateful. I 100% recommend this practice for anyone wanting old time respectable personal care.

After my doctor's office closed unexpectedly, Elite primary was able to work me in at a timely manner. I saw doctor Rita Kapoor and she really listened to my concerns and was very helpful.

This doctor’s office is empathetic, it’s clear they’re listening, they’re thorough, they’re down-to-earth, I’m not treated like “another patient to get through” or anything, and I’ve only had 1 visit. Their receptionist is very kind and thorough. AND THEY TAKE TRICARE! (In case any other Tricare insured people are looking for a civilian PCP!) My favorite part is their clear communication. Being autistic makes it hard to navigate the world when verbal communication is vague or nonexistent. I had absolutely no trouble at this office, and there were also other patients in the waiting room with more visible neuro developmental disabilities. I also have a service dog and had no issues with their staff or Dr Kapoor. 11/10, I will go to this office for primary care as long as I live in the area. I found Elite Primary Care with a google search on a whim. My PREVIOUS primary care is/was THE worst experience I’ve ever had with any physician/physician’s office. I have had continued care with over 15 different physicians since I was 10 years old to now (I’m 21), and Dr Kapoor + her office staff have been THE most welcoming, respectful and clearly communicative physician’s office I have EVER been to. This includes psychiatry , rheumatology, pain management, mental health counseling, other primary care providers, ENT, urgent care, gastroenterology, and gynecology providers and offices across Frederick and GW..

I was nervous when I moved to Frederick about finding a quality PCP, and I am so glad I found Drs. Azizi and Kapoor. The office atmosphere is lovely and calming. Dr. Azizi was patient, kind, and professional in meeting me and addressing my current health concerns, and she made sure to clarify any questions I asked. In addition, I was very impressed with the office staff. They were so efficient and pleasant. I arrived at 3:50 for a 4PM appointment - I was back in a waiting room for vitals at exactly 4PM, and I was out of the office by 4:15, and that includes time for new patient paperwork, pulling my old lab results so Dr. Azizi could review them, and providing me with new medication. The office ran like a well oiled machine and everyone was so considerate. I would definitely recommend this practice.

This is an updated review, I had some issues regarding appointments fees, but It is all resolved and got a call from the doctor and it was a very nice experience, friendly & supportive staff. Will recommend this place to others.

I was able to schedule my appointment with Dr. Azizi smoothly and the staff was very friendly. The exam room was clean and organized and coordination between checking in and seeing the doctor was timely and respectful. The doctor was on time and paid attention to what I had to say and answered all my questions thoroughly. She was knowledgeable and took the time to explain things clearly, explaining the options of treatment. I did not understand the prescription instructions clearly when I received it from the pharmacy so I called her office and I was able to get a quick response to my concern. I would recommend her practice to my family and friends!

My initial visit was honestly by chance. I needed an urgent COVID screening and most places didn't have any availability. Fortunately, Elite Primary was able to fit me in their schedule that morning and get me my results by the next day. That visit went smooth and soon after I switched doctors because of how empathetic they were. I highly recommend them.

I avoided going to a Doctor for many years. One day my neighbor went to Dr. Kapoor and highly recommend her. I made an appointment and I am very happy and now a patient. She is caring and she listened and responded to all my concerns. I finally found a Doctor that I feel I can trust. The staff is welcoming, polite and friendly. Thank you Elite...you are truly Elite!

I established care with Dr Kapoor just yesterday. I have two rare conditions and I was always told by my primary care manager that I was a complicated patient and he would not be able to help me much but instead would be better at being a conduit for referrals to specialists for which none are required by my insurance. While in a virtual waiting room for a scheduled patient visit, for 2.5 hrs over some concerning lab results that were sent to me in email and in the mail but never provided to me over the phone by my PCM, just last week, I decided I deserved a better patient care experience because if carefully managed I could have a better quality of life. Based on other reviews I chose Elite Primary Care Group and Dr Kapoor. From the phone call to the Nurse/Receptionist to establish care, to the actual visit itself the process was seamless. I was made to feel welcome and told I matter from call one. And knowing I have great anxiety regarding Doctors related to past misdiagnoses and patient care experiences the nurse/receptionist not only informed the Doctor of my fears prior to my visit, she remembered me and calmed me the day of the visit when I needed to sign on to the portal and even came outside of the building looking for me when I could not find the building in the medical complex because I was so anxious. It was the best front desk experience I have ever had and I have seen many, not only as a patient, but as a nurse. I was no long just a number. After being checked in, Dr Kapoor saw me almost immediately and took a full 45 minutes if not longer to go over my entire medical history. She was kind and compassionate. She discussed a treatment plan and goals. She even told me she would call me with new labs results herself. When I told her that most Doctors routinely only took a few minutes with me before pushing me out the door as a complicated patient they could not handle, she said you are exactly the patient that requires more time, your history requires it. I almost fell off the exam table. It was at that moment that I decided this medical practice was the one I have been looking for since we moved to Maryland in 2016. And I will soon be transferring my entire family! Five stars does not represent the patient care experience I received from Dr Kapoor and staff! Highly recommend! This practice is truly Elite! Ten stars!

Dr. Azizi is a kind, compassionate and professional doctor. She takes time to listen to my health complaints and her diagnoses and treatments are always spot on! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced clinician who has both the passion for medicine and the compassion required to help people navigate their health problems.

As a physician myself, I can attest that personal and professional responsibilities can tend to take priority over one's personal health. Yet, no great distance or busy schedule has been a barrier since finding the ideal healthcare for myself ...especially when I finally get a team of dedicated, knowledgeable, experienced, and understanding health care doctors, like Dr. Azizi and Dr. Kapoor, who put all else aside to make sure I am getting the best possible care with all questions and concerns fully addressed.

I am so happy I decided to set up my annual here. Dr. Kapoor was amazing. She went the extra mile by explaining the long-term effects of my diabetes and ways to prevent them along with explaining all my medications to me with their potential side effects. She did not rush me at all (as so many other physicians tend to) and I was given the space to ask all the questions and concerns I had. Definitely found my new PCP!

It’s difficult to find a physician who listens. Dr. Kapoor took the time to listen to and assess my concerns without spending all her time in front of her computer trying to document what I was saying. I finally found a doctor that I look forward to seeing.

Dr. Kapoor is one of the most compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable physicians I have come across in a long time. I have multiple complex medical conditions and Dr. Kapoor took her time, addressed each condition individually and provided a comprehensive plan. She has become our entire family's primary care physician. I highly recommend her and the practice.

Finally, my search for a female physician has come to an end! I am able to express my points of concern and be comfortable while doing so. Dr. Azizi is attentive to my needs and is very knowledgeable. I am grateful to receive awesome treatment from an empathetic doctor. I will definitely refer her to my family and friends.
