I went to have a basal cell carcinoma removed from my leg. The attending nurse was very professional. Dr. Barrows numbed the area with lidocaine removed the affected growth. All in about less than a minute. He took the specimen to the lab and 15 minutes later the nurse came in and told me I was good to go. Very professional all the way around! Very pleased!

First of all, the receptionist was able to schedule my appointment the day I called. She was very friendly and understanding. The doctor and nurse that saw me were some of the most friendly medical professionals I have ever experienced. They seemed to really care that I felt comfortable and heard. PA Katy Thompson has been absolutely wonderful. I originally saw another doctor within the same practice at a different location and did not have a great experience, which made me hesitant to continue care there. Switching to Dr. Thompson completely changed that. I’ve had several biopsies for potential pre-cancerous spots, and a few required curettage and electrodesiccation in some pretty sensitive areas. Dr. Thompson handled every procedure with care and professionalism. Her stitches are incredibly clean, and the areas have healed very nicely. What I appreciate most is how kind and communicative she is. She takes the time to explain what she’s doing, talks through the process so you know what to expect, and follows up afterward to make sure everything is healing properly. It makes a big difference when you’re dealing with procedures like these. I highly recommend Dr. Thompson to anyone looking for a skilled, thoughtful dermatologist who truly cares about her patients.

I saw Dr. Asad for removal of a cyst and I was very pleased with how quickly they were able to remove the cyst. Dr. Asad was very nice, personable and friendly. I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment but also had first appointment of the day. My cyst is healing nicely and I appreciate the use of dissolving stitches so I don’t have to come back in to get them removed. I plan on coming back for a full body scan and will come back for any further dermatology needs.

Dr Asad is a competent doctor specializing in Eczema scalp itch. He prescribed two medications for a one week trial. After that process he prescribed an injection to the midriff that has helped subside the uncomfortable scalp itch.

Matt Bruno is exceptionally skilled and makes it painless. One of the best medical practitioners from whom I have ever received treatment. I have a solid basis for my opinion because I have had over 15 significant surgeries [e.g. triple bypass, cardiac stents, cervical fusion, lumbar fusion, facet joint removal, bones cut and shortened (4 times in my left foot plus my Achilles' tendon), cubital and carpal tunnel surgeries, bone removed from left hand, complex left thumb ligaments restructured, and more…]. I have been going to Prefered Dermatology in Allan TX. For 2 years and I have found them to be the best at everything they do. They are efficient, and I have never had to wait more than five minutes. They are all friendly, but best of all, Dr. Yee figured out immediately why I've had an itch all over my body, that I've had for over 2 years, and she prescribed a medication and the itch is gone. All other dermatologist said it was a bad case of Ezema. Thank you Dr Yee.

I had an appointment to have scab thing removed from the back of my left leg that had been there for years and seemed to never heal . Dr. Katherine removed it after sterilizing and numbing the area ! She sent it to a lab for biopsy which I will get results in a week or so ! I never felt any pain or discomfort and very glad to finally get some resolution to this !!!

Leaving his first appointment, my son commented that Dr. Bruno treated him as a whole person and didn’t just look at his acne. Dr Bruno took all of his health conditions, activities, habits into consideration to develop the plan to address his acne, prevent infection his regular activities (sports), & avoid medicines that could trigger his other health conditions. Dr. Bruno made sure all of our questions were addressed. He finished the appointment, left the room and came back when my son remembered something he forgot to mention. Recently, I had the services of Dr. Matthew Bruno, Matthew Barrows, and Solomon at the Preferred Dermatology Partners in Allen, Texas. Each was very thorough in identifying how to tend to a spot on the back of my left hand. The results were that a section was removed and a biopsy was performed. The end results were that the area was normal. Excellent service and recommendations were made by each doctor.

I visited Dr Bruno several times about 5-6 years ago. I relocated, so I had to find someone else. He went off my network and moved house w/o notice. I moved back to the area, got a new Dermo and she vanished overnight - just before an appointment! I saw Dr B on the network provider list and jumped at the chance. Great service, takes his time and sweats the details. Cannot recommend enough.

Dr. Mathew Bruno examined several areas of my left hand and right leg containing skin lesions. He took off sections of the skin for a biopsy. Awaiting results. My primary concern is the itching of the scalp caused by eczema. Still looking for a resolution to severely minimize the scalp itch.

I cannot even explain the amazing bedside manner of Matt Bruno, PA. Matt is by far the best doctor I have ever worked with in any specialty. He comes in the room and literally makes you feel like you are his best friend. It's been 2 years since I've been there, and he remembered us! He walks in with a smile and shakes your hand and wants to know everything about your day and your life. We drove 3 hours to go and see him. Both my husband and I, we're treated by him at the same time. With Dr. Bruno, you are able to talk about your life and your kids, your career, your hoyse, your hobbies and more. He listens, he makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. I've had hives and skin issues for about 10 years, and nobody could figure out what was wrong with me. They tested for autoimmune deficiencies and lupus. Multiple doctors seen trying to figure out what was happening to my body. At one point we thought I was allergic to the sun, lol. We still didn't know what was wrong with me. I thought I was allergic to very rare things and couldn't determine what it was. Just in our conversation, he suggested I eliminate corn from my diet, and after 10 years, all of my hives, my itching, my swelling, the sores on my body, went away. No one else could figure out what was going on with me Internally. a dermatologist that checks my potentially cancerous moles, is the one that figured out what I was allergic to. He has changed my life. I could not give a higher recommendation to Mattt Bruno. I will continue driving 3 hours, one way to be his patient, because this man and his office staff are truly amazing.

5 star ALWAYS. “Dr. Matt” is the real deal and he’s training his PAs and NPs to be equally awesome. He LISTENS and his brain works in fascinating ways. My dad died of melanoma when I was young and he always considers my history and the emotion behind my concerns which is positively monumental. He’s very disarming with me which I value considering my family history. He takes it seriously but talks me down to reality. I value him immensely as a medical provider and a human being. I’d invite him to all our cookouts and pool parties if it were ethical!

Completely satisfied with my experience here. I saw Dr. Matt Bruno today. First time I've ever been to a dermatologist. Dr. Bruno was professional, kind, and actually fun to talk with. Dr. Bruno looked at everything, and removed 10-12 non-cancerous skin growths on my face and neck within 10 minutes. After having some of these for 10-12 years, I really thought it was going to both cost much more, and also be more invasive procedures. I haven't had an experience with a Doctor, ever, that I was this pleased with. His whole office staff was great. I was in the room within 5 minutes of completing my new patient paperwork, and was on my way to work within an hour.

It was necessary, for medical reasons. that I move to the Allen, McKinney area. I did so with a lot of second thoughts as I had one of the best dermatologist in the D F W Metroplex. The anxiety that I was experiencing ALL vanished when I was assigned and met Doctor Matthew Bruno of Dermatology and Skin Cancer Surgery Center located in Allen Texas. After the first few minutes of our consultation I felt that I was now also a patient of another knowledgeable and capable dermatologist. All anxiety vanished immediately and now having had two different surgeries I can truthfully say “since I have moved to this area I have been extremely fortunate to have been treated to the very best. My experience with Doctor Bruno I have found him to be a great professional but a friendly, compassionate care-giver as well. So glad he accepted me as a patient. In my 90 years of living in NJ, PA, OH and now TX , I have been told by several dermatologist, along the way that I am the “poster boy for skin cancer”. I will look for no other than, Doctor Matthew Bruno.

Matt Bruno was highly recommended by a friend of mine. Great doctors are always hard to find so I dont mind seeing a few before I eventually "settle" for one. There was no settling here though. My experiences with Bruno have been nothing short of fantastic and have wholly changed my perception of Drs visits. My wife, my mother, my sister, and a cousin of mine all go here for visits with Bruno now and I cannot recommend anyone more highly.

Great team of doctors. Highly recommend them and Dr Barrow. Dr Barrow removed three cancers from my body (including melanoma) in the last 9 months. All the cuts to remove the cancers were effective and left completely clean margins. My follow up is with Matt at the Allen office. Matt is awesome and he’s really good at eliminating the awkwardness associated with quarterly body inspections. Our family has went to Dr Barrows for 17 years. I trust him.

Mr. Bruno is a work of art. He has saved my son from cystic acne. Starting with the most conservative treatment available, he worked with my son to prevent the scarring (emotionally and physically) that tends to occur with acne, and may I say he has done beyond our wildest hopes. My husband grew up with acne and has scars on his back that I can put my entire thumb into. My son will not suffer that fate. If that weren't enough...I have suffered with eczema since I was one day old. I always had a rash somewhere, usually on my arms. It made growing up particularly rough. Matt was always there to help me when I had a flare up (no, you don't outgrow eczema). After treating me for about a year, he mentioned Dupixient. We talked about it and prescribed it for me. Now I wouldn't live without it--or him! As far as our house is concerned, Matt Bruno and the Allen office is approaching sainthood! They are pleasant to work with, fun to visit, always helpful and willing to see us, able to find a way to relieve our concerns and make the unpleasant issues seem way less unpleasant. You could not ask for a better provider or office.

Friendly greetings by the staff upon entering. Arrived 15 minutes early. Escorted to a room on time by very friendly staff. PA Matt Bruno showed up minutes later. Very quick visit, but very thorough. Matt went over my list and meticulously did a full scan. All of my concerns vanished. No worries! Peace of mind. Should have visited sooner. For those that have never been in, Matt Bruno makes you (me) feel like I've always known him. Great sense of humor. Very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. I was going in to get a mole removed and to get a weird bump on my skin looked at and I was nervous 😬. Dr. Bruno was quick to diagnose the bump as a small cyst and it all took about five minutes to remove my unwanted mole and the cyst. It was a great experience that I wish I had done forever ago! I was very anxious about seeing Dr. Bruno about a skin cancer check. However, Dr. Bruno and his staff calmed my fears as they extracted two suspicious looking spots. Not an easy task because I can be a little terrified of needles! They were quick and thorough and took time with me to answer questions. I’m very glad to have found him.

The staff from the front door to the exam room are friendly, welcoming, and incredibly personable at DSCSC. I come to the office about 4x a year for mole and freckle skin checks and even though I frequently leave with a few bandaids and biopsies, I truly look forward to my visits with Matt Bruno. He has the best bedside manner. My visits are thorough and never rushed...but I never spend very long waiting in the lobby or exam room either. I appreciate a doctor who speaks to me like a human and never talks down to me. I refer everyone I can because good doctors are hard to find!

I've been going to another physician since 2006 for my plaque psoriasis. After several prescribed biologics nothing seemed to work longer than 3 months. The good news is, I was referred to Dr. Bruno, in December 2019 who assured me I would be wearing shorts proudly, in the summer of 2020 and I did for the first time in 13 years! He prescribed "Skyrizi" and I've been clear with no side effects!!! I recommend you see Dr. Bruno for any skin disorder! Kudos Dr. Bruno and "Skyrizi".

Matt Bruno is so friendly and upbeat. He really makes the visit pleasant. He found a spot on me that turned out to be melanoma. My only issue is that on my most recent visit, I waited in a very cold room with only the paper top and a paper sheet over my legs for 45 minutes. I wish the medical assistant had given me an estimate of how long it was going to be. But I will definitely continue here with Matt Bruno. I love his happy demeanor!

It was a few years ago that I went, but they took care of me. I had some funny thing growing on my skin. I thought it was from working out in the sun too much... maybe it was. But they didn't BS me and try to make it into an expensive problem. They just took care of the problem and told me what happened and that was it. I left the country for almost a year, and had a bill I didn't know about. There was no vindictive action. I just told them my phone wasn't working and just paid it without extra fees when I finally found out about it.

I was very please with the whole process for treatment of a Basil Cell spot on my ear. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The doctor was quick and to the point. If you're looking to chat it up with the doctor, you may be disappointed. In his defense, he is apparently running 10 to 15 people an hour through his offices. But his assistants, PA, and other staff will handle all your questions and spend whatever time needed to help you through whatever you are dealing with.

Both my brother and I had issues with acne and he helped us get it cleared up. I haven’t had any major breakouts in years. He’ll be my dermatologist as long as I live in the area!

First time visit and new to Texas. Staff was wonderful and Dr. Matt Bruno was outstanding. Always a bit of an unknown when looking for a doctor. I am very grateful to have been lucky to find a good one on the first try.

The staff is superb. The quality of service is too One thing I DO NOT like is getting a text message reminder at 6:30 AM the day before and the day of the appointment. NOT EVERYONE gets up before 6:30 or is awake at 6:30 in the morning Please consider this in your practices

The staff is great, especially Matt Bruno and his group. My only complaint is that when they send a text message reminder, it is sent out at approximately 6:30 am. They are getting this corrected with their vendor.

From the time you walk in til the time you leave you have the feeling they truly care about you. The staff is excellent and then there’s Dr Bruno he has such a fantastic bedside manner and even if it’s not great news is giving you he is the most positive dr I have ever met. He truly cares to make you feel better. I will have my family go to him. We live in Fort Worth but it is worth driving to see him. He is the best Dr with the most caring staff and you leave feeling cared for and you know he only wants what is best for you.

I have been going to Dr Barrows for years. My visits are always pleasant. Very knowledgeable doctors that have a very nice bedside manor. I go to Christina for my body scans every year. Since she is a woman she searches the entire body on women. Makes you feel very comfortable. I have also used the Aestheticians at the location in McKinney, they are amazing!

Dr. Bruno and his staff were friendly and efficient. They answered my questions in plain terms and actually listened to my observations/concerns before providing any treatment or recommendations. Appointment started on time, no awful wait in the waiting room. Once I was in my patient room, the doctor came in very quickly and was very personable and efficient. Obviously timing varies by procedure but I was finished with my visit and leaving the office within 20 minutes of my appointment time. I am extremely pleased with my choice of doctor and facility, would strongly recommend to anyone looking to establish a dermatology healthcare relationship in or around Allen.

Dr Bruno and Dr Barrows are great. Never disappointed!! They know what they are doing and it’s a quick visit yet they still manage to cover all of your needs. I love the office so much, I drove down from Austin just to make my regularly scheduled visit.

I arrived a little early and was taken back promptly. I was sent all the patient forms to fill out ahead of time which was great. I was seen by the PA, who was great; efficient, explanatory and friendly. Everyone was very polite, the facility is brand new and spotless. They’ve got a new happy customer here!

Dr. Bruno is great. After years of misdiagnosis, he was able to quickly identify the issue, and begin a treatment plan. He is friendly and somehow manages to recall details of our conversations and checks in regularly to see how things are going outside of the medical. Truly above and beyond service.

I have been visiting Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center in the Allen Tx office for many years. The staff is always attentive, kind and efficient. When I first came my psoriasis (skin and joint) was painful and debilitating. After some trials of different meds my skin is clear and the psoriasis is well-controlled. I usually see P.A. Matthew Bruno who listens very well and is very knowledgeable about skin problems and treatments available. He does not quit until the best solutions are found to treat conditions and ailments that affect his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Barrow's Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center for any dermatological issues you may have.

I have only great things to say about this practice! Dr. Bruno was so caring and concerned for me with my facial issues. I had been to 2 urgent cares and another dermatologist before I found this practice. I was seen at the time of my appointment, the ladies were very friendly and caring, and the office was efficient and professional! Dr. Bruno looked at me and said, "I will heal you!" And I know he will!
