Reception area was clean, uncluttered, and comfortable. Reception personnel friendly, unhurried, and attentive to questions. The nurse who did the original intake was a joy, friendly, communicative without being chatty or overbearing, and she laughed at my jokes. The doctor was thorough, communicative without being condescending , answering my questions thoroughly using terminology I didn’t have to translate into coherent language. She gave me a realistic explanation for my situation and let me make an informed choice about the treatment options. I like them.

I'll say it AGAIN...Preferred Dermatology is truly the best! I had a stitch removal appt. today & when I got to the office (Rockwall) there was a bit of confusion about the date of my appt. (most likely my fault) as I wasn't on their schedule for today. Well Julianna & Gabby at the front desk worked their magic & found a way to fit me in, even though my Dr. & his team weren't in the Rockwall office today! I am SO grateful for them, as I drive an hour each way. Thank you once again Preferred Dermatology! As always I give them 5 stars & of course an A++ Signed, Sarah G...A truly satisfied patient!

Always a good experience with Dr. Marissa Bothun. She's thorough and pleasant,and the staff is excellent, too. Love the fact that the waiting room is being expanded for patients' comfort. Great doctor!

UPDATE: after Dr Marvin left the practice we made our next appointment with Dr Tam Nguyen. He is outstanding. Very professional, yet personable and extremely thorough! We love everything about this office. The front desk staff is so helpful, friendly and kind; the Assistants are very helpful and thorough and every Dr. we have seen has been outstanding. We come often and have had procedures done in the office and Mohs surgery and we have been so happy with every situation. I can’t recommend them enough! Absolutely the BEST!! Dr Sydney and her assistant are both wonderfully AMAZING. Extremely thorough, so kind and friendly. I can’t say enough great things about this entire office.from the moment you walk in, Marisol makes you feel welcome. I am so happy that we were referred to this office, it is a great feeling to know we are getting the very best care. I can’t say enough great things about Dr Sydney and her crew.
