I recently had my annual visit with preferred Dermatology for an overall health skin check by Dr Nguyen in Rockwall. He was extremely polite, thorough and knowledgeable. I chose preferred Dermatology due to their stellar ratings on google. They have always been helpful to explain any of their findings and answer all of my questions. I recommend preferred Dermatology.

Dr. Hixon is compassionate and took his time answering all the questions we had. He explained the procedure thoroughly. His staff is also welcoming and warm. I totally recommend this practice.

Dr. Nguyen at Preferred Dermatology Rockwall is an incredible dermatologist. A doctor with a sense of humor (odd) and an incredible attention to detail. It's great to have a perfectionist when it comes to having someone hacking away at your face. Excellent experience - I'm a happy and loyal customer for sure.

Everyone, including all staff members from top surgeons to newest employees, were polite, professional, and welcoming to me as a patient, and to my wife who was there for support. Every medical step and expected outcome of the necessary treatment was explained and discussed before treatment began, and understood by the patient. We were very pleased!!!

I came to Preferred Dermatology in Rockwall because I wanted a full body check. I'm glad I came because the doctor found two suspicious moles. Doctor Nguyen and his staff were excellent to work with.

Reception area was clean, uncluttered, and comfortable. Reception personnel friendly, unhurried, and attentive to questions. The nurse who did the original intake was a joy, friendly, communicative without being chatty or overbearing, and she laughed at my jokes. The doctor was thorough, communicative without being condescending , answering my questions thoroughly using terminology I didn't have to translate into coherent language. She gave me a realistic explanation for my situation and let me make an informed choice about the treatment options. I like them.

I'll say it AGAIN...Preferred Dermatology is truly the best! I had a stitch removal appt. today & when I got to the office (Rockwall) there was a bit of confusion about the date of my appt. (most likely my fault) as I wasn't on their schedule for today. Well Julianna & Gabby at the front desk worked their magic & found a way to fit me in, even though my Dr. & his team weren't in the Rockwall office today! I am SO grateful for them, as I drive an hour each way. Thank you once again Preferred Dermatology! As always I give them 5 stars & of course an A++ Signed, Sarah G...A truly satisfied patient!

Marissa consistently inspires confidence with her outstanding bedside manner. She is friendly, always smiling, and extremely professional. She takes the time needed to make an accurate diagnosis and thoroughly explains all available treatment options before proceeding. I've been very happy with the procedures she has performed, and the results have always met my expectations. Marissa strikes me as highly knowledgeable and experienced in the field of dermatology. I trust her expertise completely and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking quality dermatologic care.

UPDATE: after Dr Marvin left the practice we made our next appointment with Dr Tam Nguyen. He is outstanding. Very professional, yet personable and extremely thorough! We love everything about this office. The front desk staff is so helpful, friendly and kind; the Assistants are very helpful and thorough and every Dr. we have seen has been outstanding. We come often and have had procedures done in the office and Mohs surgery and we have been so happy with every situation. I can't recommend them enough! Absolutely the BEST!! Dr Sydney and her assistant are both wonderfully AMAZING. Extremely thorough, so kind and friendly. I can't say enough great things about this entire office.from the moment you walk in, Marisol makes you feel welcome. I am so happy that we were referred to this office, it is a great feeling to know we are getting the very best care. I can't say enough great things about Dr Sydney and her crew.
