What Can PGT Testing Tell You?
Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) examines embryos during IVF before the transfer to a woman's uterus. PGT can test for a range of genetic problems that can cause implantation failure, miscarriage, and potential birth defects. Genetic defects that can be discovered include a missing or extra chromosome, sickle cell anemia, or rearrangement of genes.
